Does the Dover Home Depot still offer Kids Workshops?

Yes, the Dover store offers in-person Kids Workshops. These free in-store events take place every first Saturday of the month between 9am–noon. You may secure your Kids Workshop kit by registering online for the event. We have a new kit pack every month to keep your little doer engaged. Kits include all necessary craft materials, kit instructions, certificate of achievement, stickers, an apron pin, and a Discovery Education extension activity. Paint and all other required tools are provided at the event. Kits may be ordered online at our Kids Projects Activities page or picked up in-store if you prefer to participate in the workshop from home. Visit our customer service counter or call us to order your kit.

How do I check the balance of my Home Depot gift card?

One of the best stores
I bought during November & December 2021 MILWAUKEE tools and MILWAUKEE Packout 7 Tool Boxes and DEWALT tools and some HUSKY tools too. I’m so happy with my purchase and so very happy with the employees who made my visits great.

      About your new return rules
      This feedback has to do with your new return process. Your motto is “how DOERS get MORE done.” For most renovations or home projects for DIYers (not contractors), you should know that it is difficult to know exactly beforehand all the materials or fittings you will need. To avoid returns, you could buy a few pieces each time as you progress but make several trips to the store. Or you could buy some excess parts (within reason) in less trips, focus on the job and finish it, and then return what you didn’t need. Which of the two ways allows people to DO MORE with the same time and money?? The second option, but it will result in returning unused items. The process repeats itself for someone who does consecutive or seasonal home projects. Previously, the aforementioned second option was not a problem for me. Now, returns seem more difficult. The cashier mentioned that after so many returns I may not be able to do more returns, even though all I brought back was unopened!! If so, I would be pushed to do the aforementioned first option, which is inconvenient and inefficient. I understand you’re trying to prevent abuse. But I wonder if you painted with too broad of a brush that you’re penalizing people who’re not abusing the returns, just trying to GET THINGS DONE without so many trips to the store. I think your new return system will result in inconvenienced customers and probably less sales because people will do less projects. They will not want to risk getting stuck with new material they did not use and is in new retail condition.

            Excellent customer service
            My daughters and I received exceptional customer service from Cooper. He went above and beyond helping us with finding the right material for our project. Usually I end up leaving Home Depot very frustrated with the customer service, but this time due to Cooper's knowledge, patience and kindness, we walked out of Home Depot very satisfied.

Vickey consistently maintains a negative attitude, never wearing a smile, and consistently conducts herself in an unprofessional manner.

                    Bad experience turned out to be great!
                    My Black Friday experience at Home Depot in Dover, NJ, transformed a frustrating situation into an exceptional customer service triumph. Initially, my online order was unceremoniously canceled upon delivery due to an issue with the delivery personnel. Disappointed but not deterred, I visited the store to address the matter. This turned out to be a blessing in disguise. Upon arrival, I was greeted by the store manager, Nouman. His professionalism and empathy were immediately evident. Nouman didn't just listen to my issue; he actively sought to resolve it. He personally escorted me to the appliances section, introducing me to Sylvia, a knowledgeable and friendly associate. Together, Nouman and Sylvia not only reinstated my original order at the promised Black Friday prices but also provided such outstanding service that I felt confident in purchasing two additional appliances. What truly set this experience apart was the personal attention and follow-through. Nouman and Sylvia coordinated with the delivery company to prevent future issues, ensuring a seamless process. Throughout my visit, Nouman checked in regularly, making sure every price was accurately matched and all my concerns were addressed. His dedication to customer satisfaction was evident. This Home Depot team, especially Sylvia in appliances, turned a potential customer service failure into a story of excellence. Their commitment, expertise, and genuine care have earned my loyalty.
