How do I rent a tool?
Stop by the Rental Center at your nearest Home Depot to see what tools are up for rent. You can also call first to inquire about a tool, or visit our tool rental page to see if it's offered at your store. If it's not, try another nearby store or reach out to our Rental Center associates to find where that tool may be available. Can I rent a tool for a day?
Tool rentals start at four hour time slots. Simply choose the length of time that suits you. Small home improvement jobs may only require a short rental period, and we can accommodate large projects as well. You've got options to rent tools by the day, week, or month, too. If you need it longer than your initial rental period, call your Rental Center for an extension and avoid late fees.
When do I return the tools?
You're welcome to return the tools early if you finish your project faster than planned, but on-time works, too. As long as you return it by the deadline you were given when you rented it, you'll be good to go. Please clean off residual dust, mud, and grime from the tool as well. If you need them longer, call the rental center to see if you can extend your rental period.
Do power saw rentals come with saw blades?
Yes, power saw rentals typically come with blades, but we recommend that you purchase your own. You probably won't get a sharp saw blade that comes with your rental. However, you might get lucky and have a sharpened blade on the saw. As there's no guarantee, it's smart to buy a suitable blade in case you need it.
