A: NO! the 4 shelves are "removable" but there are no alternate holes to put them in. But, you don't really want to put them in any other location because there's only six inches between shelves, anything less is useless.

A: Yes, there are 4 adjustable shelves. The 1 fixed shelf is 20.5 inches from the bottom and is in the center of the opening.

Hinge offset

The door does not close properly. I believe that is because the hinges are not offset on each side.

Disappointed

The cabinet came with easy enough instructions. The problem is the screws where easly stripped when when trying to attach the door. The cabinet has 3 hinges to attach the door to the base. Unfortunately I had to take the middle hing off the door because it wouldn't have attached to the base properly. Very disappointing because it is a before piece of furniture and it is serving the purpose of storage. I think they need to institute a messure twice cut once policy at the manufacturing center.

I was so excited to receive this but....

The wood is really nice and I was looking forward to painting it. The bad news is the door seems warped and latches to the top magnet but not the bottom. The predrilled holes for the door were completed off. The first time I put it on, the door would not close due to the bottom extending to low, and the top magnet was nowhere near the top to latch it. I had a builder friend come over and he thinks it's warped as well. I am so bummed...the quality is very good if it would assemble properly. was going to buy more from this line but am not sure I want to pau that kind of money for this final product.

Bathroom remodel

I absolutely love this cabinet!! Shipped really fast and packed very nicely. Wood is so smooth that there is no need to pre-sand before staining. Extremely easy to put together with instructions that are super easy to understand. The quality is great. The only thing I changed was the knob. I strained it with 2 coats of Varathane Black Cherry and 1 coat of satin polyurethane and it looks gorgeous. Thank you so much for making such a great product.

Generally, I found the cabinet to be good. Here are the details. WOOD: Wood has nice grain and was well sanded. PARTS: All parts were present. DESIGN AND CONSTRUCTION: Design was good. Could have been a couple inches deeper. When the door is open it tends to be a little front heavy and may tip. Be careful while staining (before the shelves are in) so it does not tip. Attach to wall if you have small children in the house. Keep heavy things in the bottom. STAINING: I used one coat of pre-stain, two coats of Minwax Golden Oak, and 3 coats of Polyurethane (statin finish). I lightly sanded with 220 grit sandpaper between the coats of Polyurethane. Before applying the pre-stain, vacuum well and wipe down with a clean cloth or tack cloth. After sanding, vacuum well and wipe down with a clean cloth. The color matched the wood floors well and I am happy with the result. PROBLEM AREAS (and things to watch for): The door has a slight bow to it but is not a major issue. One of the magnetic door closers had on oversized screw and would not adjust. Check them. One of the hinges had an oversized screw making it difficult to close the door. The screws used on the door hinges are made so that the screw must be perfectly centered in the center of the hole or they will sit too high and prevent the door from closing smoothly. Unfortunately, the holes were drilled rather imprecisely and half are not in the center of the holes. I re-drilled the off-center holes with the smallest drill bit I had (1/16 inch). I purchased 20 new smaller screws and they worked much better. The screws I used are Ace Hardware, Antique Brass #4 x ½ inch. $0.23 each. I bought 20 so I would have a couple spare. Do not use the zinc plated ones. They are soft and the heads strip easily. INTENDED USE: Jam/Jelly cabinet (6 shelves holds 60 jars) SUMMARY: Overall, I would rate the cabinet as a B+/A-. Just a few issues to work through.
