About This Product
Give transplants the nutrients they need to thrive with the Miracle-Gro Quick Start Planting and Transplant Starting Solution. This starting solution improves root growth for faster blooms compared to unfed plants. Miracle-Gro Quick Start Planting and Transplant Starting Solution is ideal for all flowers, vegetables, trees, shrubs, transplants, and seedlings. To apply the solution, fill cap to the 1st line and mix with 1 gallon of water. Pour the diluted solution around the new plantings to settle soil and feed the roots. Flowers and vegetables require approximately 1 cup of prepared solution, and larger plants require several quarts of prepared solution. Repeat the application of starting solution in 7 days. For best results, begin regular feedings with Miracle-Gro plant food 7-14 days after the second feeding of starting solution. This solution is a liquid plant food concentrate and must be diluted with water before application. I've got a two year old Anna apple tree that's not doing very well (primarily thanks to Hurricane Beryl last year 🙄). I'm in Zone 9. How much prepared Miracle Gro Quick Start should I use to get the root ball to wake up and get the tree growing again?
For Miracle-Gro Quick Start Planting & Transplant Starting Solution is best suited right after planting, pour 1 quart of diluted Quick Start solution around the base of the plant. For larger plants, use several quarts. Repeat this application in 7 days. We do recommend following all instructions listed on the packaging to yield the best results. Can you soak your leca clay balls in this solution?
We have not done any testing for that purpose on the Miracle-Gro Quick Start Planting & Transplant Starting Solution. We recommend using around new plantings to settle the soil and feed the roots. Feed at time of transplant and again 7 days later. Thereafter, begin regular feeding with the appropriate Miracle-Gro Plant Food every 7-14 days.
Is this Alright to use for Bread seed poppy plants & for Transplantingas well as seedlings?
The label do es state that it is safe for all flower and vegetable transplants. It stimulates root growth for the plant. It is just for transplants or new plantings. I would not recommend using it for just seeds. The plants will need a root system.
Can this be used for overwintered pepper plants?
Miracle-Gro Quick Start Planting & Transplant Starting Solution can be used around edibles, including fruit and nut trees, vegetables and herbs. There is no waiting period before harvesting-just wash plant or edible prior to eating after use of this product.
Can I use this to start regrowth to heavily pruned hedge row to prompt regrowth soon after pruning?
The Miracle-Gro Quick Start can be used on shrubs. You do not want to trim or prune before use as you want as much foliage as possible to absorb the plant food. Once the product has dried pruning is fine.
Can this be used on orchids
Miracle-Gro Quick Start Planting & Transplant Starting Solution can be used for orchids.
Can this be used on St. Augustine plugs?
Miracle-Gro Quick Start is a straight fertilizer that technically can be used on any grass type. However, plant foods are not the best choice for a lawn because the NPK ratio is not optimized for lawn needs. Also some states, cities, or counties have restrictions on applying phosphorus to the lawn.
Since label is unreadable, please compare to solution made with M.-Gro All Purpose Plant Food fertilizer. ANY significant difference?
