An overpriced DVD/VCR with nothing needed for tv show taping
I guess, now makers of these no longer make them so you can hook in your cable and record shows while you are working....you have to now buy the seperate modulator and tuner...so why bother...I mean why else would you buy something like this...It was not mentioned in the details so if you do not have a DVR or cable box and you have the plain old fashioned cable hookup - save your money.

Good value for the money
It's very complicated, and directions are not that clear.
Only negative is it does not show tape position with time remaining on tape

Toshiba DVD/VCR Combo
I was impressed with the overall product as it can even play a dvd and a tape simultaneously, but it does only have a RCA connection for the VCR. With any newer television that's not a problem however to tape after June 12th it would require a digital converter.
I just got it to play tapes so it works great for me and it plays the DVDs through RGBs/component connections which are good quality.

Best Brand for DVD/VCR.
I love the Toshiba brands, they make them very well.
This DVD/VCR is exactly what I was needing and it works very well. Was easy to hook up and easy to use.
I ordered it online, the process is smooth and was received in just a few days.
