But it was hard to light at first but we did it and they was beautiful going up in the sky.

Easy to light and all 4 went up beautifully ! I have bought several different brands and these are the first to have all light and go up without incident.

These were beautiful lanterns and relatively easy to light using a lighter. Wind is definitely an issue, so you need to have fairly calm conditions. Loved them and will definitely purchase more for future use.

it was easy to assemble but difficult to light

I bought these to take to Jamaica to celebrate a wedding anniversary and honor the passing of my father. They were easy to travel with (lightweight) and VERY easy to use. They made our evening very special.

Super easy setup , just unfold , light and let go. These were a hit at our gathering . I would definitely recommend these and would order them again at our next occasion .

Excellent value for the quantity as there are four per package. My husband and I released this from the rooftop gathering area while on vacation in Las Vegas. We were able to do this one year following the homegoing of my mother in law. It was breathtaking. Thank you Home Depot!

So, with a little patience and a little practice, these work like a charm. U must unfold them kinda carefully to not tear them, open them up,and attach the li'l cardboard fuel cell. You can't light these with a match or bic lighter, you need more. We use a butane torch with total success. One or two persons to hold it, one to light it. Keep the opening close to the ground, as to keep just warm air in, be careful not to burn the paper....and BE PATIENT! It may take a minute or more for the lantern to fill with hot air. You will feel it fighting you to rise. So wait a tad longer, then give it a boost to launch! It's flying high in the picture, headed out over the cornfield. Cannot work well on a windy day, and make sure you know which way it will likely travel to avoid trees or powerlines or whatever. We have had less success on a cold winter night. HEY HOME DEPOT....sell these IN STORE, please!!

I ordered 3 different colors (purple, pink and white). The white seemed to heat up the best and easier to light. The purple worked good as well and went up beautifully. Carefully read directions. They were perfect for a night and tribute to mom/grandma who recently passed for our family. Highly recommend

These were a delight to share with my children and grandchildren. We released them over the water on Christmas Day eve and it was just beautiful. Everyone enjoyed them so much. Everyone is still talking about it. They were easy to light and release when ready. I will definitely be purchasing this item again.

We were doing a celebration of life for my mom's passing and we wanted to use sky lanterns and no store was carrying them except Home Depot. We had them shipped to us and it made the celebration of life even more special. We drew on the white ones and made them more personal. Thank You Home Depot.

Terrible experience! These were difficult and nearly impossible to light. Plus, they rip easily while we were trying to get them lit. We only got one to light. Then it didn’t float. Would NOT recommend

I was only able to use 2 of the 4 lanterns it was very difficult to carefully pull them apart without ripping them.

The lanterns were quality and operated as expected. A good alternative to Fourth of July fireworks!

Couldn't find no where and they are a nice size for the price

This one was ok but I do like the smaller ones better...They go a lot further in distance.... Maybe the wind was up that night...

I think these worked really well. Took some time to light them but afterwards they were great. We tried to write on them and realized you have to write very light because they do tear very easily, but all in all they did their job.

Fitting tribute to my late husband. Purchased white and also red (his favorite color). Will be an annual tribute, lanterns are beautiful as they soar up high to my love.
