One 1 inch x 4 inch x 10 foot primed pine board:
- (2) 3 1/2 inches

- (1) 14 inches
- (5) 16 inches
Use a sanding block to smooth out the edges and surface.
Paint

Paint the five 16-inch boards any color you like. Paint them all one color, or different ones. Once dry, line up the boards, painted side down, to create a palette.
Attach Boards to Backside

Using wood glue and brad nails, attach the two 17 inch x 1 inch x 2 inch boards to the backside of the 16 inch boards.
Attach Sides

Attach two planter box sides at 3 1/2 inches to the 12 1/2-inch piece and then attach the 14-inch piece across the front using wood glue and a brad nailer. Fill in nail holes, sand and spray paint.
Attach to the Front

Attach the planter box to the front of the palette, perpendicular, with wood glue, adding nails from the back to secure.
Tip: The box should be set offset 1 inch on both sides and the bottom. Nail from the back 1 1/4-inch to secure.
Add the Numbers

Line up the self-adhesive numbers to the front of the planter. Pre-dril holes into the front of the four corners of the planter box to add decorative screws.
Your Planter is Complete!

Add D-rings to the back of the planter to hang. Now it's time to hang it up and add in the plants.
