Assemble Supplies and Start Gluing to Wreath

Gathering the supplies you'll need to make a wreath, including a wreath base, glue gun, glue sticks, fishing line/filament, purchased plastic skeleton and real or faux succulents or plants.
For the wreath base, you can use a metal, dried sphagnum moss, straw or plastic wreath. You can even repurpose an old Christmas wreath. Spray-paint the wreath black or a neutral color. Or, if you plan to use real succulents or plants, cover the wreath with sphagnum moss and use pins to secure the moss in place.
Once you have the wreath base as desired, arrange the larger plastic skeleton bones around the wreath form, using
the femur and tibia bones to make a diamond shape frame. Glue the bones in place with hot glue. Place the plastic skeleton hands and feet and one spine section in various places around the wreath, keeping the bones balanced around the wreath. Allow the glue ample time to dry.
Secure Bones with Monofilament/Fishing Line

Once you have the bones in place, cut a long piece of monofilament/fishing line and wrap it around each bone to secure in place. Tie off or secure the fishing line/filament to the back of the wreath with pins or glue.
Prepare Succulents or Plants for the Wreath

To add real succulents or plants to the wreath, wet the sphagnum moss and let sit for 20 minutes. Next, remove the succulents from the pots and shake off excess dirt. Gently insert one end of floral wire through the middle of the plant's base stem.
Pull the wire through so that the wire is even on both sides of the plant's stem. Then gently bring the two ends together, loosely twisting the wire.
Add the Succulents or Plants

Insert wired succulents into the wreath, tucking plants around the bones. Use floral U pins to help secure the plants in place. Do the same to secure faux succulents or plants.
Attach the Skull

Attach the skull to the wreath by tying it around the wreath frame. The skull should hang down in the middle of the wreath.
Hang the Wreath

Hang it on your front door with a wreath door hanger or removable hook.
Keep Your Wreath Fresh

If you use real succulents or plants, spritz the wreath with water every few days to keep succulents moist and looking fresh.
