Planning a kitchen remodel could not be easier thanks to theproject calculatorsthat are available on The Home Depot’s website! From tile, to paint, to countertops, you can start your kitchen remodel journey by calculating how much material you need before shopping. That way, you know if you are staying within budget before getting started!
2. Picking Appliances

Working with a small kitchen layout means you have to get creative with space and material. The Home Depot has a variety of cabinets in different shapes and sizes for every kitchen project need. For small kitchens, appliances with hidden handles or compact footprints (like counter-depth refrigerators), are a great option without compromising quality. Also, opting for in-cabinet appliances like microwave drawers, helps to free up valuable counter space!
3. Choosing Cabinets + Hardware

Kitchens need cabinets, and in a small kitchen layout, cabinet and counter space are essential! The Home Depot offers a variety of cabinets to help create the perfect kitchen layout. Adding backsplash is a secret weapon that can not only help pull together the look of your kitchen, but also help make the space feel taller. Backsplashes come in every shape, style, material, and color. So, it’s important to choose a backsplash that represents your style! For instance, opting for vertical tiles helps pull the eye up to the ceiling. While, choosing a smaller, but brighter mosaic tile can assist with giving the space an elevated look.
