Ashley Basnight, is a software engineer with a Boeing Company outside of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. In August of 2016, Ashley was looking for a custom dining table and could not find anyone in her area to build her one at an affordable price! She was determined to get a custom table and ran across an Instagram page of a woman who built furniture! It was then Ashley came across a woodworking community of cool builders who were committing their lives to furniture making. She first started off repurposing furniture and spent weeks looking at woodworking plans wondering if she could do it too; after going back and forth, one day she finally just said enough is enough! So she got up, drove to Home Depot and bought the biggest saw she could find and Ashley built her first dining table with no sort of woodworking background at all.
