We want to create an inviting atmosphere. Seating for two or more invites companionship and conversation. Don't forget the right rug brings a necessary layer of texture.

When creating a cohesive space, balance is key. To balance the metal of the plant stand and pendant light we added metal lanterns by the entrance, and a Defiant deadbolt. This was especially useful to make the longer space feel unified. Don’t forget the “rule of threes” to make your space more eye-catching. We grouped the floor lantern with two faux-stone planters. This turned a once plain door into a warm welcome.

When working with a longer space, you want to see your vision flow from one end to the other. Keep all of the elements, colors and textures in mind when planning so that it doesn’t feel like separate thoughts in a shared space.
