Our store diverts waste from landfills by accepting plastic plant pots, CFLs, lead acid batteries, and rechargeable batteries for recycling.
This store recycles all shrink wrap, contributing to the 780 million pounds that The Home Depot has sold to Trex in the past. This is used for composite decking materials, bringing us one step closer to a circular economy.
We have decreased electricity consumption by over 52% in our U.S. stores since 2010.
The Home Depot's core values are based on doing the right thing for our customers and associates, and this commitment extends beyond our stores to the environment and our communities. We are your partners in environmental sustainability. Learn more about our commitment to economic responsibility.
Welcome to the Hermiston Home Depot. Come by and meet our team today.
No matter what home project you've taken on, we're here to help you finish it. From boilers to TV wall mounts, you'll find it on our shelves. Let our team get you in and out with the supplies you came for. You can also check out our Home Depot product locator app, which displays the aisle location, store map, and current inventory for the items you're looking for.
At The Home Depot, getting involved in our local community is important to us. We support the Hermiston school district and our local veterans.
You can find us northwest of the intersection of Highway 395 and OR-207, by the Hermiston Cinema, close to the Goodwill. We hope you'll stop by soon. Make sure to browse our local ad before you visit to learn more about great in-store deals.
Sincerely,
The Hermiston Hardware Store Team
Do you have Halloween animatronics?
Yes, we carry many types of Halloween decor that make noise and/or move. Our Halloween animatronics bring eerie characters to life. Scare your neighbors when your decorations move and talk. This includes current favorites like Dean the Deathologist and Skelly. For additional drama, use a fog machine or two to mask the animatronics until they start to roar or cackle.
Do I need a generator?
Having a generator means you're prepared year-round for any circumstances Mother Nature throws at you. Whether dealing with severe thunderstorms, blizzards or strong winds, a portable generator lets you enjoy power after the elements take it out. When exploring different generators for sale, keep in mind that portable generators are more affordable and generate more electricity than inverter generators, but they're heavier and louder. For safety purposes, always run your generators outdoors, away from doors and windows.
How can I prepare my home for the winter?
Ready your home for winter weather by replacing any faulty or broken parts of your hardscaping and home. If water freezes in any crevices, you could be looking at trouble. On the outside of your home, examine roof shingles or metal roofs for damage or rust that could let water leak into your home. Gutters should be cleaned to prevent ice dams. Check cinder blocks and brick for cracks, and ensure indoor ceiling tiles are free from water damage and missing pieces. Lastly, vinyl siding and chimney caps should be changed if they're damaged.
Are garage cabinets or sheds better for storage?
As you prepare for the holidays, make extra space with storage solutions. Garage cabinets keep tools, decorations, and more out of the way. Shoe storage and other storage bins take summer belongings out of the equation. Shield fragile items with moving blankets. If you need even more room, a new shed can give you the space you've dreamed of.
How do I check my Home Depot gift card balance?
Home Depot gift cards are a popular choice for the holidays, birthdays, and housewarming parties. DIYers know these gift cards are fun to give and to receive. Purchase gift cards at our brick-and-mortar stores or online at homedepot.com. If you're a recipient, you can visit your local Home Depot store and ask a cashier to check the balance for you or check your gift card balance online. Use our gift cards to shop online or redeem them in-store, all with no additional fees.
