The Allen Home Deport Store has everything you could want for home and garden and the staff is eager to help you locate what you are looking for and also helpful in showing you how to use or apply the materials for a good outcome. Having staff that are knowledgeable is very important and I look to return to the store for all my home needs as they really show an interest in helping you. The store is always clean and bright with new merchandise in the display areas as seasons change. I could stay in the store longer just looking at everything but need to get home to complete the task that brought me to the store in the first place!

Whether needing help finding tools or plumbing supplies, the Allen, TX Home Depot has an easy to follow layout and a knowledgeable staff to help locate hard to see items. The staff is also great for the free classes they give for kids and willingness to work with groups like the Boy Scouts and Girl Scouts. I use them for all my home projects and lawn and yard needs.

I went to Home Depot on Sunday mid-afternoon and immediately got help from a gentlemen in the paint department. When I needed some help in another department to solve the rest of my project, he walked me over and introduced me to another employee who could help. I received all the necessary help within 15 minutes & then checkout went very smoothly with no wait. I was pleasantly surprised for a Sunday afternoon. Will shop there again soon.

Store is very clean and well run. Always has the products I'm looking for. The best part of this store is Cashier "Edna"! She is always in a good mood, very professional yet laid back and friendly. She is always willing to help. When I go to this store I always look for her line just so I can have a great experience and enjoy her happiness!

Yards and miles above the competition. This store is well-managed, well-staffed, well-stocked and, apparently, well-supported. Not only are there plenty of employees to assist you, they all seem very knowledgeable and anxious to help, no matter how small or large a project you're trying to tackle. They seem to enjoy working there and that transfers out to their ability to help provide fantastic expertise and assistance.

Best Home Depot store I've ever patronized. Day in and out, this store always seem to have a full stock of products and enough well-trained and pleasant staff to provide any and all help you may need. This store stands head and shoulders above any home improvement store in the DFW Metroplex - and beyond.

This store is only a couple miles from my home and easy access. Cashier Shirley is the best.

The older or retired from other jobs must have had much experience or expertise in the area or departments in which they are located in the store. They seem to have the knowledge of what I might need on my project. They are also able to tell me how to go about the project when I asked them. This makes it very worth me shopping there instead of somewhere else. Thank you Home Depot!

We bought a lawnmower, got it home, only to discover a missing knob and carriage bolt. Employees were pleasant and helpful -- were willing to take one off of the display vs our lugging the entire mower back. Plus, LOVE your dog policy :-)

Staff is present to aide, knowledgeable and efficient, and products are always available as well as reasonably priced. Oh, we really appreciate the military discount. You all rock!

Awesome Customer Service, friendly, happy and knowledgeable. I have never went into this store and felt that I was out of line for asking a question about a product and someone is always happy to help me out!

All the staff I dealt with were courteous and very helpful from the time I entered to the time I left.

I would like to start by describing my experience with the associate (Alejandra) that helped me. First, she acted like she was unhappy to have to help someone. Second, when I explained to her I was needing to exchange an item that I did not have a receipt for, she asked if I had the receipt... I explained again that I did not have the receipt and I just needed to exchange the item for a very similar item. She then began the attitude and started the return process. Soon she began ringing up my extra products and when she had a total, I realized the amount was too much. I asked about the shower head that was on special for half off of 24.99, which should have been for 12.88... She looked at me like I was crazy and then said “well I would have to call plumbing to find that out", and just stared at me... I then said "OK", and she then said well I can look it up online, and then she did so. She then said, " yep just like I thought, THAT IS THE SALE PRICE SIR., HALF OFF IS 24.99" and looked at me like I was that was trying to win one over on some poor sales associate that wouldn't know the difference. I again explained that I didn't see the special wrong, and she then made a phone call to someone in the department, where I overheard her stating that "that's what I thought, he is full of it... I went ahead and finished my transaction feeling like a heathen and that it was my fault for my vision being bad, as I am getting older and I shouldn't have pitched a fuss.... As she finished the transaction, she gave the total of 10.31, and I reached into my wallet and handed her a 20 dollar bill and then as I started to hand her 35 cents, she slammed the register door shut and said "sorry sir the sale is final", before I could give her the extra change in order to not have to break another dollar... After putting my items in my car, I decided to go back in and take another look at the shower head display to see if I had misread or miss-understood the sale. Sure enough, the deal was plain as day and the "half off" of 24.99 advertisement was still standing current at 12.88. I took out my phone and took a photo and headed up to the returns counter with another shower head in hand. Low and behold, there was Alejandra helping another customer (and still holding the same attitude)... As another lady approached me asking me if I needed help, I said "yeah, that girl next to you said I was wrong about the price of the item I am holding in my hand". Right about then, Alejandra noticed me and I proceeded to show her the picture I had taken and she grabbed my phone and said, "Oh it’s because it had a different sku" as she walked away with my phone. I was appalled and tried to reach for my phone and finally got it back, and she said "well I can just mark it down". I just walked away saying "all you had to do was walk down the aisle and look" as I left. My complaint is this- If she had attempted to apologize for her lack of knowledge or just simply said "I am sorry for my mistake, or "sorry sir", I wouldn't even be taking the time to write this review. I don’t normally even write reviews, but I just thought this person is no stranger to treating people this way, and I don’t think somebody that acts this way should be in customer service.
