I caught an overcharge because their UPC did not match the product.

The products were in stock and very easy to find. Check out was a breeze.

This is to publicly and personally thank two exceptional associates from the outdoor gardening department. Toi and Brad were most cheerfully helpful in loading 25 bags (each time) of hardwood mulch in my pickup truck bed. Others avoided the task. Their positive, customer oriented attitudes will bring me back to this HD store even though it is farther than I need to go for one. Thank you, Toi and Brad!

If you've ever waited in long lines at Home Depot on Saturdays or Sundays, I just want to advertise the great availability of mid-morning. I know not everyone can arrange to shop then, but if you can, it is the perfect time. The shelves and flower bins have been restored to full availability, and there are associates available before you even ask. I just got a new rose, plant food, and a few other things in just minutes, without waiting, and had them planted in the time I've often spent in line. I urge you to give it a try.

We are in the process of starting an edible garden at Annandale High School which required a large order of garden supplies. The associates at Home Depot were extremely polite and helpful. They went out of their way to make sure our order was correct and to assure that the delivery was well planned.

I visited three Northern Virginia HD stores, looking for nine door strike plates of a particular color. I bought all they had (5) at the first store. At the second store, they only looked for the same item number as on the plates I had, finding none. They didn't have the same item at the Annandale store, but Dominic pointed out another brand that was even better for what I wanted than what I had already bought, and they had plenty of them. I recognized from the packaging that I had seen the same plates at the second store, but no one made the connection. If Dominic had been at the second store, I could have saved two hours of rush hour driving. If not for Dominic, I would STILL be looking for the plates!

A white bearded gentleman was very pleasant in helping me address the price difference in the carriage bolts (Zinc, Stainless Steel, Galvanized) and their prices. I told him that they are not marked and placed correctly thus deceiving the customer. He cleared up the issue and gave me refund of the difference.

This store has excellent associates but one person stands out among all and that is Mrs. Maria of the register # 2. She is always in a great mood and ready to cooperate with customers in every aspect. It is efficient and fast and fully understands that a contractor's time is really important. Thanks you Mrs. Maria for all your help. Thumbs up for employees like you!!!!!

I much rather prefer shopping at this Home Depot location as the associates are extremely friendly and very helpful. We recently purchased a granite kitchen counter top from Home Depot and have been going back quite frequently to purchase many other items :) Today I purchased a new garbage disposal and Sam and Mark were extremely helpful!

This store is always my first choice. It is easy to get in and out of. The staff are always friendly na dhelpful.

I visited two Home Depots with an issue before going to this one and the Associate who helped me, Marie (from the ProShop Desk), was fantastic. She was concerned, friendly, and knowledgeable and went above what she could do to make sure that I had a positive experience. She made sure that everything was working before I left the store and showed genuine concern that I left with exactly what I needed. It was more than appreciated and I would go back to this store just to shop with the Associates that I met there!

I was looking for a new smoke alarm. Asked a Home Depot associate in the main aisle not associated with smoke alarms. She was very helpful in matter of factly and quickly giving me the aisle (aisle #4) in which the smoke alarms were found. Also, I was able to find a very good smoke alarm at a low price. Not having purchased a smoke alarm before, I was pleasantly surprised the device has a sealed-In Lithium Battery with a power supply requiring no battery replacement required over the 10 year life of the alarm. I never knew the new smoke alarms do not require purchase of batteries! Isn't that great ??

The store opened at 8 AM on Sunday, an hour later than I expected and needed it to be available for a product I needed for an emergency home repair. I did get the help I needed right away from an associate who was knowledgeable, helpful and courteous. He stayed with me until I dound the product I needed among the many available. Self-checkout was available which I used, but did use the assistance of the readily available cashier who helped me with the military discount I'm entitled to receive.

My husband and I had an appointment with Brian Sommer to get a quote on a new granite kitchen counter top. We met with him and also "Mama" Gail who both were extremely knowledgeable and helpful and walked out of there purchasing a new counter top! The entire experience was stress free for my husband who was pleasantly surprised :) Ann C. at the counter was kind enough to also find us the best financing deal. I come to store every morning to purchase my items and Jones at the pro desk is the best. He helps me all the time.

I just wrote 1000 words about the store. Ms Hong Harrington helped my wife and I as we retrofitted our bath rooms. she is knowledgeable, easy to talk too, knows the whole store and has helped me in the past when I have bought all manner of products. her boss, I did not get his card, was also helpful in gathering the goods we bought. I explained in my review not all home depot stores are the same, and the one in lewes, delaware is unhelpful, discourteous, and sour--so when in my house in delaware I shop at loews. in virginia I always shop at home depot in Annandale..
