Our store diverts waste from landfills by accepting rechargeable batteries, plastic plant pots, CFLs, and lead acid batteries for recycling.
This store recycles all shrink wrap, contributing to the 780 million pounds that The Home Depot has sold to Trex in the past. This is used in composite decking, bringing us one step closer to a circular economy.
LED lights in your local store cut down energy consumption by 98 million kilowatt hours. Many stores also participate in renewable energy initiatives like wind and solar.
The Home Depot's core values are based on doing the right thing for our customers and associates, and this commitment extends beyond our stores to the environment, as well as our communities. We are your partners in environmental sustainability. Read more about our eco actions.

Does The Home Depot have another sale this spring?
Enjoy some of the top bargains of the season with our Spring Deals. New tools help take care of that to-do list as the weather warms. It's also a good time for setting up new appliances, starting lawn and garden work outdoors, and cleaning indoors. Remember to upgrade your outdoor power equipment as well. Get it all done when you save during our Spring Deals sale, which runs only from April 24th through May 7th. Don't miss out on these bargains.
Do you have large moving boxes?
Pick up an assortment of moving boxes to make storage or moving easier. We've got the sizes you need, including specialty ones like wardrobe and TV boxes. Cushion any and all items with bubble cushion and moving blankets to ensure your belongings make it to your next location safely. Look into our moving truck rentals, too, and take care of your DIY move needs in one place.
Is it good to have a generator at home?
We've got the options you need when searching for a generator for sale. Inverter generators are cleaner and quieter than traditional portable generators. They adjust to whatever power load is requested. This means they'll make less noise while they create less power. When searching generators for sale, keep in mind that portable generators cost less and generate more electricity than inverter generators, but they're heavier and louder. Always run your generators outside, away from windows and doors, for safety purposes.
What home repairs should I make sooner rather than later?
Make sure your home is ready for spring temperature swings by repairing or replacing broken parts of your hardscaping and home. If water freezes in the crevices, you could be looking at trouble. On the outside of your home, examine metal roofs or roofing shingles for rust or damage that could let water leak in. Gutters should be clear to prevent ice dams if you're still prone to ice storms and snow. Check bricks and cinder blocks for cracks. Indoors, ensure ceiling tiles are free from water damage and missing pieces. Lastly, chimney caps and vinyl siding should be replaced if damaged.
What are the benefits of doorbell cameras?
Enjoy peace of mind, privacy, and safety with a wireless or wired doorbell camera. No more peeking through a peephole or window when you can see human or animal visitors in real time. Some doorbell cams even let you chat remotely via your phone, which is useful for delivery people or to scare off would-be porch pirates. Several cameras integrate with your smart home hub or app to give you easy and flexible accessibility. Choose to save video clips for future reference as needed and worry less with more control.
