Amazing service by Dave at Hardware, extremely satisfied

Tim Andersen in the appliance department was funny and helpful. I would definitely recommend you ask for him if you need help. However i will say the availability of sales associates in that department on a saturday morning was not very good. The one associate who was in that department went on break leaving no one there to help until they could page Tim to the rescue.

Everything is easy to find at this store, I have never had a problem with either the store layout or any of the associates

Jason and Emily went out of their way to help my husband and I! Emily spent over an hour helping me with my order. I can't say enough good things about Home Depot.

We liked the Bali blinds and were excited by the 25% discount sale going on. We bought 10 blinds, including installation. We almost DIDN'T finish the purchase, simply from the behavior of the staff. Staff in the departments seemed slow to respond to customers, uncertain about how to enter things into the computer, and miffed if someone changed their minds on minor details like colors. For those of us who AREN'T home builders, going to Home Depot is like going to a foreign country, and we require friendly interpreters. Staff acted as if they don't have the time to wait on customers, or that customer are an interruption in their day. While we were there, I overheard one woman remark loudly, "If this is how the service is, I'm taking my business across the street!" and the couple left.

We were just browsing for floor covering. The associate that helped us was very friendly and helpful. He was very knowledgeable on the products. We decided to go ahead and line up buying and installing of flooring.

Friendly and helpful staff! We found everything we came for! Cashier even made more coffee for us and he was very friendly and the check out was quick.

Brooke the cashier was very friendly. Store was clean, and organized. Only negative was some isles were full because of stocking, but this cannot be helped.

The associate in paint was very pleasant considering we asked her to mix 6 trial sizes of paint for us. The checkout lady was extremely nice while helping us with the new chip reader on the credit card payment. The customer in front of us was also having trouble and your associate was just as patient with her as she was with us. Great job!

I love coming to Home Depot several times a week, both for purchasing needed items or to just browse and learn about new tools or remodeling supplies. My store experiences have always been positive and find each trip a rewarding adventure. Although I am retired, I do a lot of home maintenance work, as well as, work on a cabin renovation project. Over the past year, I have probably made over 50-60 individual purchases ranging from a few dollars to well over several hundred. Today, I purchased a Werner Work Platform that will be used for many upcoming projects, both for my home and my cabin renovation. Home Depot matched the price of this item to a similar item at Menards. This is another reason I prefer to shop at Home depot. With a free cup of coffee in hand, I can easily spend several hours walking around the store and exploring new items, tools, supplies, etc.

I needed a custom colour for a project I am working on. The woman in paint was not to terribly sure if we could do a match, but she called over another associate and managed to come up with a great match. Home Depot always comes through for me. They are the best. The young man at the register was very positive and helpful. He made me feel like a valued customer. Another rare bonus is Home Depot recognizes and supports those in the Military with a discount. This is one of the main reasons I shop with them.

Went in to buy a storm door. We had picked out a specific door that we thought that we wanted. After talking to the salesperson, he pointed out some features of another door at a slightly higher price. After considering everything, we felt that the quality and the features of the other door were well worth the extra price of the door. Very happy that the salesperson gave us some options rather than just taking our order.

I have always found good professional advise regardless of the section I am shopping. The associates are readily available and willing to answer my questions and offer their opinion when required. I am always pleased with this locations stock and cleanliness

On 8-13-15 we purchaed an LG WT5270CW clothes washer from the Apple Valley, MN H D store. The washer was delivered on Friday 8-21-15, and we could not get it to work. On Monday 8-24 I called the Apple Valley store to arrange for the return of the washer, and they refused to take it back. We have disputed the charge with the credit card company, and they have reversed the charge and are investigating. Our H D purchases have stopped until the washer is returned for full credit.

Apple Valley associates need allot of improvement. The three I talked to this visit were no help and all of them showed they didn't want to try and help.

The paint department was easy to find, as we're the brushes. The selection of brushes was exceptional.

I am a regular costumer to the apple valley location and two of the associates really stand out Dave and Seth are always there to help me, they ask about my latest projects, know me by name and always offer to help me load my car. They treat me like a pro!
