Mr Curtis
Curtis was rude to me. I originally couldn’t get a sku number so I asked an associate could she help me. Since I had a picture of the sku she was going to manually enter it but I told her that I only had half the set so she referred me to customer. Mr Curtis said do you need help sir? I replied yes and explained my dilemma. He laughed and said, “well we wouldn’t know the price either.” I said, well I was told to come to customer service to resolve the issue so maybe you could call a manager for help if you can’t figure it out. So he asked the older lady next to him for help. I let her know that I had a picture of the product with the SKU but it didn’t have the other piece which was the brush connection. He then all of sudden had a price by offering 10% off which I told the kind older woman that curtis basically wants to give me $1.50 for something that’s clearly half way missing. Curtis said that was all that he could do which was understandable but there was no reason to insult my intelligence like that because help had already arrived. He should’ve let a pro take over like she did and she said to mark it off by 50% and I said, boom done deal and put my other item on the counter and that ticked him off. So he says, we’ll allI could give you was 10% rudely. He didn’t get his way and was clearly wrong. So I told him I just wanted what was fair so there was no need to get an attitude.. He rudely said he didn’t have an attitude which was super unprofessional. In stead of just saying, no sir I was wrong and sorry for the inconvenience have a nice day. He made me feel like I should just take what he was giving and shut up. Like he wrote the mission statement and by laws for Home Depot. I stepped to the side for a second to keep my composure and went back to the counter to finish my purchase. He asked for me to pull up the pic on my phone again which my phone was on 1% but thank God it didn’t go dead. I’m sure I would’ve had to walk back there instead of him. Disappointed with the lack of customer service.
I only needed a key and another item, but unfortunately, the job wasn't done correctly. The key doesn’t even work, so now I have to waste more time returning to the store to get it replaced. Very frustrating experience.

My Home Depot experience first as a business partner then as a customer.
My relationship with Home Depot goes back to 1990, while I worked as project coordinator for a not-for-profit organization. Apart of my job was to establish business partner(s) to help offset my program budget as In Kind Controbution. The program was called FloridaFix, together we helped low to moderate income families who owned there homes, but were not financially able to get the necessary home repairs that they desperately needed and wanted. We were very successful and a number elderly seniors received new windows, doors, partially and full replaced roofs, weatherization testing and addressing in the needed areas. AL at no cost to the home owner(s). Home Depot provided the man power and
expertise and tackled the challenge of several homes from start to finish. Now, today I as a private citizen and shop for my home I find myself coming to Home Depot again looking for that some knowledge, expertise and professionalism that I have come to expect.

A nice experience
This is my go to store for most of my home needs and projects. This is the second instance where a weeknight evening shopping experience was extended because finding an available associate took about 20 minutes to lay eyes on; and, another 15 minutes to wait for them to finish up with a customer on the phone. I take this as a couple of things…good customer service and inadequate staffing. I also understand that over staffing affects the bottom line and previous trends for sales dictate staffing levels; and, I still feel the need to bring this to the attention of someone who can potentially do something about it.
Overall my experience was nice once I was engaged with the associate who assisted me, and I also want to encourage those that shop here to be patient and kind to those who do work in this store.
