Calhoun Home Depot, is the Best, they treat you like Family!!!!

Moving to Calhoun a little over a year ago it goes without saying we have frequented the local Home Depot several times! Every one we have had help us at Home Depot has been extremely knowledgeable in their departments & always ready to help! The guys that help you load your truck have been OUTSTANDING!!! Just recently, in the blind & shades department Eric was GREAT to work with! It is so great having this store so close by! Kudos to all the great staff at Home Depot!!!

This store has the best associates and probably the best Lumber and Hardware sections of all the stores I've been to. Definitely recommend this store!

Each and every associate at the Calhoun Home Depot can give you suggestions with your projects, help you find any needed items, or simply explain to you the various products in their department. The people in our community are so fortunate to have David MacKnight as the manager of the BEST Home Depot store anywhere in the U.S.

I knew I wanted to paint my bathroom but was not sure what colors Hannah in the paint department stopped what she was doing to help me decide colored for the wall and cabinets and made sure I had everything I needed from walking in the door to leaving I felt welcomed I will drive from Dalton Georgia to Calhoun to shop at home depot for now on

VERY FRIENDLY AND WILL HELP YOU FIND WHAT YOU NEED

My wife's parents are her biological grandparents (they legally adopted her as a baby). Her dad is 84 with congestive heart failure and COPD. Her mother (80) has dementia and is in bad shape. The family is originally from Ohio but moved to Georgia for her dads COPD. He had a heart attack 2 weeks ago today. He fell and broke his hip when that occurred. He was the caregiver to himself and his wife, however he can no longer do that at the moment. He is currently in a wheelchair until he can get back on his feet. Until then my wife and myself are trying to take care of them, while having a two year old, I also have back problems, and my father has Parkinson's. I am an only child and I am struggling badly. Anyway we needed a ramp for my father in laws wheelchair but they cost like $300. A friend donated me lots of wood but I am no carpenter AT ALL. I made the design in my head and tried to build it. Everything was going great until I needed to cut the slope. I was using my father in laws tools (50 plus years old) and was managing but I could not cut the slope as I needed. I went to this store and spoke with a man named JJ back in the contractor/special orders area. I explained my situation (as above) and he said let me see what I can do. He was alone for a hour (partner on lunch) yet he worked with me and still did special orders for all customers that came through his line. He truly went above and beyond to help a stranger he had never met. It was more than 'a paycheck' for him. I have worked retail my entire life, the last 10 years as a Store Manager. I would KILL to have him on my staff (if I wasn't injured and still had a store). This man is a true example of customer service. I will continue to shop here from now on because of what he did for me and my family. He could have shrugged me off and said sorry cant help you (because I know it probably isn't in his job description to be cutting wood that didn't even come from the store). Yet he did anyway because he knew how I was struggling. I'm proud to say because of his help, my father in law got to go outside today because I finished his ramp. It was the first time of him seeing the outside in almost two weeks. Thank you JJ and keep up the outstanding work!

I LOVE HOME DEPOT. The Calhoun associates are always friendly and helpful. The store is well laid out for ease of moving thru the store. The aisles are well marked. The store is always clean and neat. Good product selection and prices! I can remember the days before Home Depot came to Calhoun and it was awful! Life is much easier now!

My Home Depot store in Calhoun, Ga is the only Home repair store that I shop at, because of the friendly staff who always go out of their way to find customers to help!

We were pleased with the employees we came in contact with and went the extra step to help us... Definitely worth the drive from Chattanooga.

Friendly service

Although this store is five minutes further than the Rome store, I usually go here because the store is so well ran. Easier to find help, shorter lines and a very well-kept store make it worth the few extra minutes. Order online for pickup and they'll text you when your order is ready. Pick up is a breeze.

I consistently receive great service from well informed and friendly store associates. Love the free workshops they offer. I will be back....many times!

Total Customer Service! All of the associates that work at the Calhoun location are incredible employees; these employees are experts in their particular area of the store and they are very knowledgeable about all other departments within the facility. Outstanding service is the best word to describe each and every employee. David MacKnight is an incredible manager and mentor as he sets a terrific example for each of his employees. Friendly, professional, and skilled are the best ways to describe the associates as they follow in the footsteps of Mr. MacKnight.

The one lone paint dept employee(?) was rude, bored and disinterested. pointed and grunted at the aisle.
