Our store diverts waste from landfills by accepting rechargeable batteries, plastic plant pots, CFLs, and lead acid batteries for recycling.
This store recycles all shrink wrap, contributing to the 780 million pounds that The Home Depot has sold to Trex in the past. This is used to manufacture composite decking, bringing us one step closer to a circular economy.
Since 2010, we have decreased electricity consumption by over 52% in our U.S. stores.
The Home Depot's core values are based on doing the right thing for our customers and associates, and this commitment extends beyond our stores to our communities and the environment. We are your partners in environmental sustainability. Read more about our eco actions.

Do you have moving boxes?
Pick up an assortment of moving boxes to make moving or storage easier. We've got the sizes you need, including specialty ones like TV and wardrobe boxes. Cushion any and all items with moving blankets and bubble cushion to ensure your belongings make it to your next location safely. Look into our moving truck rentals, too, and take care of your DIY move needs in one place.
Is it good to have a generator at home?
We've got the options you need when searching for a generator for sale. Inverter generators are quieter and cleaner than traditional portable generators. They'll adjust to the required load, making less noise when they create less power. When shopping for generators for sale, remember that portable generators cost less and generate more electricity than inverter generators, but they're louder and heavier. Always run your generators outside, away from doors and windows, for safety purposes.
How can I prepare my home for spring temperature changes?
Ready your home for spring temperatures swings and storms by replacing or repairing faulty parts of your home and hardscaping. If water freezes in the crevices, you could be in for a real headache. On the outside of your home, examine roofing shingles or metal roofs for damage or rust that could let water in. Gutters should be clear and functional to prevent ice dams if you're still prone to ice storms and snow. Check bricks and cinder blocks for cracks. Indoors, verify ceiling tiles are free from missing pieces and water damage. Lastly, vinyl siding and chimney caps should be changed if they're damaged.
Do you have doorbell cameras?
Enjoy privacy, safety, and peace of mind with a wireless or wired doorbell camera. No more peeking through an adjacent window or peephole when you can see human or animal visitors in real time. Some doorbell cams even let you chat remotely via your phone, which is useful to scare off would-be porch pirates or talk to delivery people. Most cameras integrate with your smart home hub or app to give you easy and flexible accessibility. Save video clips for future reference as needed and worry less with more control.
