When you're beginning to make the leap into a home improvement job, you might not have all the required tools in your shed. That's when you should stop by The Home Depot Tool Rental Center in Casper.
Tool Rental
Our tool rental choices enlarge your toolbox with the precise tools you require to complete the job. It's impractical to buy a specific tool when you're not using it often. When you're looking for a new tool, give it a spin before you choose which one to buy. Whatever your situation, we have just what you're looking for.
Tame the Trees and Lawn Early
Greet the spring with outdoor power equipment rentals and whip the yard into shape again. Neaten the yard with a rental lawn mower and leaf blower rental, the trees and hedges with a chainsaw rental, and the sidewalks and driveway with a pressure washer. Your outdoor oasis will be looking fresh and ready for new spring flowers in no time.
Make Painting Easier with Rental Scaffolding and Paint Sprayers
Make the most of longer spring days and paint outdoors. Rent paint sprayers to get optimal coverage and work much faster than you would with a brush or roller and a paint tray. Rent scaffolding and ladders to reach elevated places when painting fences, houses, and sheds. We carry extension ladders and step ladders for small to medium jobs, so you won't have to wait when inspiration strikes.

How do I rent trucks or tools?
Stop by the Rental Center at your nearest Home Depot to see what trucks or tools you can rent. If you'd like to be sure of what's in stock, call first to inquire about a tool or truck. You may also check out our tool and equipment rental or truck rental pages to see if what you need is offered at your favorite store. For more on renting tools, read the Tool Rental FAQs, which includes terms and conditions for the equipment.
Can I rent a tool for a month?
You can rent a tool for four hours or more. It depends on how long you'd like to rent them. Small DIY projects may only require a rental for a few hours, and we can accommodate large projects as well. You've got options to rent tools by the week, day, or month, too. If you need it longer than what you signed up for, call your Rental Center to arrange an extension and avoid late fees.
When can I bring the tools back?
It's fine to return the tools early if you complete your project ahead of schedule, but on-time works, too. As long as you return it by the deadline you were given when you rented it, you'll be good to go. Please clean off any grime and dust from the tool as well. If you need them longer, call your local rental center to see if you can extend your rental period.
Can I rent a truck for a week?
Rent a cargo van, box truck, or pickup truck for as long as you need it. For short trips, 75 minutes could be plenty. Otherwise, consider renting it by the week or the day, depending on the length of your project. Don't forget to factor in the drive to and from the store, as you'll need to bring it back to the same store you rented it from. Penske moving truck rentals allow round-trip options as well as one-way options, and they have different terms. Make sure to read the contract and terms and conditions before you select a truck.
Should I refill the rental truck with gas before I bring it back?
Yes, please fuel up the truck before you bring it back. Match the amount of gas that was in the tank when you received the rental. When you don't refill the vehicle, you'll have to pay a penalty known as the fuel replacement charge.
Do I just need a driver's license to rent a truck?
No, you also need to be 21 or older, in addition to holding a valid driver's license. Depending on your state, you might require car insurance, as well as a credit card hold or a deposit, too. We don't accept cash for Home Depot truck rentals, so please bring your credit card. Penske moving truck rentals have different requirements, so read those if you plan to rent a Penske truck.
