I was extremely impressed by the level of knowledge and professionalism the sales associate gave to me today when I was looking to purchase a new quality weed eater. He answered all of my questions and exceeded my expectations tremendously. I learned a great deal from him about the features of each model I was considering. His level of expertise and knowledge about small engines and garden/lawn equipment astounded me. He was also very personable and took his time to make sure all of my questions were answered. I purchased an Echo weed eater with extra attachments. The only part of the store I was disappointed with was when I wanted to see some appliances in the "bisque" color, there were none in the store and I was looking to possibly purchase cook stove, dishwasher and refrigerator. I was told they are available online, but I do not want to make that large purchase without actually seeing the color in person. Chuck Harless, the associate in the lawn/garden department made up for any negatives in the rest of the store. He's a keeper for Home Depot! Give that man a promotion and a raise! He's an asset to your brand!

Have been working on a "jury rig" type of project. Purchased an item at Home Depot and then found could not hang it where I had intended for reasons not related to the store. In my efforts to solve this problem, had to make a number of trips to your store. In two of the cases while wandering about trying to find a solution, one our your young men came and not only assisted me in finding what I needed but also made very worthwhile suggestions with the result that the problem was not only solved but actually in my opinion was a better solution that was originally planned.

Home Depot is a special place to shop due to their friendly and courteous associates and pleasant atmosphere of their store.

I can't say enough good things about this store and their associates, especially their contractor services. I purchased an Anderson sliding glass door to replace a leaking set of French doors in my basement. The associate was great to deal with - got the installation scheduled timely with one of their contractors and the contractor did a fantastic job. Very reasonably priced. I also had this same store design a new kitchen for me (Associate Becky Kirkendall). She spent hours over several appointments, helping me find exactly what I wanted and when I wasn't sure what to do, she provided me with many samples and suggestions that helped me to pick items that really enhanced the beauty of the kitchen and gave me the dream kitchen I've been wanting. The cabinets came in when expected and were not damaged or defective in any way (American Woodmark cabinetry). The contractors who installed the cabinets and the one who installed the granite countertops were all very professional and did an amazing job. Recently Becky spent hours with me redesigning my bathrooms. Although my circumstances have had me to delay going forward with this job, Becky has saved my designs and will be ready to go forward when I'm ready. I did decide to go ahead and replace all the toilets in my house (three of them) and Home Depot provided me with a list of contractors from their contractor referral list, one of whom came and installed all of the toilets for me, carried off the old ones and disposed of them, and cleaned up after his work, all at a very reasonable price. Love this Home Depot and their associates.

I have had consistently excellent shopping experiences at the Charleston, WV store; from greeters to checkout.

Isn't it your store policy to honor your competitor's (aka Lowes) coupons? You might want to explain that to the employees at the Charleston, WV store. After I was told I couldn't do it and I asked for a manager I was told that they would do it just for me just this one time. Then the cashier tried to get by with only giving me 10% off of one item and felt the need to tell me to calm down twice while she figured out that 10% off 400 is not 17.

This past Sunday my wife and I went to Home Depot up at Southride in South Charleston to purchase a ladder and blower that were on sale. My wife found the blower she wanted and I asked sales representative to help me find the ladders that were on sale. We could find the ladders (because they had sold out). We asked if any of the other store still had stock. Rob, the salesman was already checking the computer to see which stores may still have stock. He found one at the Teays Valley store. he talked with t"he cashier (Donielle) who had the other store mark it as "sold" and we would pick it up shortly. They did far more than we expected and made sure we got everything we wanted!!

I have had the pleasure of Tim Graley taking care of myself and my wife on multiple occasions. He exemplifies what it takes to make a store a success. He is a first class manager/Associate as well as a just an outstanding Gentkeman all together. He is and continues to be the reason I continue to shop at your store (#4802 Charleston) and I hope he receives a complicate from his Superiors. He has never ask me to do what I'm doing which makes how he treats us that much more appreciated. It's genuine and my wife and I feel he is outstanding at what he does. Home Depot is a Great Store as a result of the "Tim Graley's" that I hope and pray are innumerable within your company. Tim will, as my wife and I discuss, be a Store Manager one day and it will be at the top due to the passion with Customer Service he possesses!!!

Could not locate an item, lady in kitchen saw the bewildered look of frustration and went out of her way to help find the item located in a different dept.

Like I said before we will shop at home Depot over Lowe's any day. Home Depot is a much better place to buy all our household needs and the people are very important to us senior citizen's and are very appreciated. Thank you.

This is my favorite store to shop

I always get good service at this store and usually get checked out quicker here then at the nearby Lowes. My only complaint would be that The Home Depot is not connected with Ebates right now.

A cleaner more well stocked store than their major competitor, also with more employees available to help.
