Our store diverts waste from landfills by accepting rechargeable batteries, plastic plant pots, CFLs, and lead acid batteries for recycling.
This store recycles all shrink wrap, contributing to the 780 million pounds that The Home Depot has sold to Trex in the past. This is used to manufacture composite decking, bringing us one step closer to a circular economy.
We have decreased electricity consumption by over 52% in our U.S. stores since 2010.
The Home Depot's core values are based on doing the right thing for our associates and customers. This commitment extends beyond our stores to the environment and our communities. We are your partners in environmental sustainability. Read more about our commitment to economic responsibility.
Welcome to the Chicopee Home Depot. We are ready to help you start your next home improvement project.
Whether you're looking for garbage disposals or gutter guards, your favorite hardware store has you covered. Get in and out, then back to the task at hand. Find the right product using our Home Depot product locator app. It displays a store map so you can ensure the product is in stock and know exactly where to find it. You can even use the barcode lookup to find detailed information on every item we carry.
At The Home Depot, community involvement is important to us. We support Westover Job Corps Center, our local schools and the Therapeutic Equestrian Center.
You can find us northeast of the intersection of I-391 and I-90, by the Party City, near the Westover Airport and Chicopee State Park. Drop by today and see what's new. Browse our local ad before you visit to plan for great in-store deals.
Sincerely,
The Chicopee Hardware Store Team

Should I get a portable generator or an inverter generator?
Having a generator means you're prepared for whatever circumstances Mother Nature throws at you. Whether you're dealing with severe thunderstorms, blizzards or strong winds, a portable generator lets you enjoy electricity when the elements take it out. When considering different generators for sale, don't forget that portable generators are more affordable and generate more electricity than inverter generators, but they're louder and heavier. For safety purposes, always run your generators outside, away from doors and windows.
What home repairs should I make sooner rather than later?
Ready your home for spring temperature swings by repairing or replacing broken parts of your home and hardscaping. If water freezes in the crevices, you could headed for major repairs down the line. Check brickwork and cinder blocks for cracks, and ensure indoor ceiling tiles are free from water damage and missing pieces. On the outside of your home, examine roof shingles or metal roofs for damage or rust that could let water leak in. Gutters should be cleaned to prevent ice dams if you're prone to frozen precip as the seasons change. Lastly, swap out chimney caps and vinyl siding if damaged.
Do you have doorbell cameras?
Enjoy safety, privacy, and peace of mind with a wired or wireless doorbell camera. No more peeking through the peephole or a nearby window when you can see visitors in real time. Some doorbell cams even let you chat remotely via your phone, which is useful to scare off potential porch pirates or talk to delivery people. Many cameras integrate with your smart home app or hub to give you flexible and easy accessibility. Save video clips for future reference and worry less with more control.
