Our store diverts waste from landfills by accepting CFLs, lead acid batteries, rechargeable batteries, and plastic plant pots for recycling.
This store recycles all shrink wrap, contributing to the 780 million pounds that The Home Depot has sold to Trex in the past. This is used to manufacture composite decking materials, bringing us one step closer to a circular economy.
We have decreased electricity consumption by over 52% in our U.S. stores since 2010.
The Home Depot's core values are based on doing the right thing for our associates and customers, and this commitment extends beyond our stores to our communities, as well as the environment. We are your partners in environmental sustainability. Learn more about our commitment to economic responsibility.

What's your selection of moving boxes like?
Pick up an assortment of moving boxes to make your move easier. We've got the sizes you need, including specialty ones like wardrobe and TV boxes. Cushion any and all items with bubble cushion and moving blankets to ensure your belongings make it there safely. Remember to check out our rental moving trucks if you need those, too.
Should I get a portable generator or an inverter generator?
We've got the options you need when searching for a generator for sale. Inverter generators are cleaner and quieter than traditional portable generators. They adjust to whatever power load is requested. This means they'll make less noise while they create less power. When searching generators for sale, don't forget that portable generators cost less and generate more electricity than inverter generators, but they're louder and heavier. For safety purposes, always run your generators outside, away from doors and windows.
How can I prepare my home for fluctuating spring temps?
Ready your home for spring temperatures swings and storms by repairing or replacing broken parts of your home and hardscaping. If water freezes in the crevices, you could be looking at trouble. On the outside of your home, examine roofing shingles or metal roofs for damage or rust that could let water in. Gutters should be clear and functional to prevent ice dams if you're still prone to ice storms and snow. Check brick and cinder block for cracks. Indoors, verify ceiling tiles are free from missing pieces and water damage. Lastly, swap out vinyl siding and chimney caps if in poor condition.
Do you have doorbell cameras?
Enjoy peace of mind, safety, and privacy with a wireless or wired doorbell camera. No more peeking through a peephole or window when you can watch animal or human visitors in real time. Some doorbell cams even let you talk to whoever is on your doorstep via your phone, which is useful for delivery people or to scare off would-be porch pirates. Many cameras integrate with your smart home hub or app to give you easy accessibility. Choose to save video clips for future reference as needed and worry less with more control.
