Purchased a large grill and had it delivered by Home Depot. Two drivers, Dan & Jason could not have been nicer and actually put it into my garage for me snd carried my old one out to the yard for pickup. Service above and beyond. Had to call the store the next day as I realized it was missing the side burner grate. No problem whatsoever. Spoke with John Hager who arranged for the delivery to my home and he said just come in and I'll make sure one is waiting for you. Now that's what I call great service. These guys are a real asset to HD and make shopping here a pleasure.

THE STORE ASSOCIATES ARE ALWAYS COURTEOUS AND WILLING TO HELP EVEN IF YOU ARE NOT IN "THEIR" DEPARTMENT. IF THEY CAN'T ANSWER YOUR QUESTION THEY MAKE SURE THEY FIND SOMEONE THAT CAN.

The level of professionalism and associate assistance and demeanor is always rather poor at this location, but on this particular visit I was very disappointed. I came specifically for a product I had in mind. A small garbage can for my chicken feed. I was injured and in an arm sling at the time of my visit. Associates were neither helpful or willing to accompany me to retrieve the product. I was just pointed in the direction, "just go through the double doors outside"... Only the cashier seemed willing to assist at the self check out. In the past I have also noticed the associates in the lumber department are not that happy to be there and not very helpful when asked to assist in either cutting lumber or taking lumber down off the rafters. Not very good overall experiences here this last year and being that I come from Kennett Square- 15 miles I may choose to take a further drive in the future to another retailer in the region.

Great experience at the return desk having lost my receipt. Was given wrong size information in the Anderson storm door department a month ago and had to return the door. Although the associate I spoke to was very friendly, no information was given about whether I could order a custom sized door and an extension kit which I later found out about.

Propane exchanges take way too long at this store - store associates are rarely immediately available to assist with these exchanges. Today I waited approximately 20 minutes for an available associate, despite repeated attempts by the cashier to locate one. This has happened to me almost every time I have visited this Home Depot for this purpose. This store should strongly consider implementing a self-service kiosk propane exchange system, similar to the one used by Home Depot in Claymont, DE.

Sales Associate, Shianne, in garden shop, was extremely pleasant and helpful.

The associate at the paint department Patty went above and beyond to provide excellent service. Even though she was helping several customers at once, she provided efficient service to all!!

The store manager answered all of my questions before I purchased a portable air conditioner. When I mentioned to the store manager that I live alone and it would be difficult to carry the portable air conditioner to my bedroom located on the second floor without hesitation mentioned that if I prefer, he would take the air conditioner to my residence and carry it up the steps to my 2nd floor bedroom along with another Home Depot associate. I do have a weak back and took him up on his offer. He than preceded to deliver my air conditioner to my home, carry it up to the second floor, take it out of it's carton and asked if there is anything else he could do. I have never experienced such an act of kindness and certainly appreciate it. As far as I am concerned this store manager went over and above to satisfy my needs.

Inventory management and help in the Garden are is non-existent. Seems like all the help is walking around in the inside of the store in air condition rather than outside in the garden section.
