Jake the associate in flooring was very helpful and friendly in assisting us on our carpet purchase, took time to explain the measuring process and how the carpet would be laid out to avoid paying for extra carpet that we wouldn't need.

Coon Rapids Home Depot has always provided excellent service!!

Poor customer service last night. Employee acted like it was an inconvienence to help me. Plus they had aisles blocked off with the stupid gates and no one was doing anything in the aisles. Only store where if you go in the evening they block aisles and hold you up from getting what you need. Never had this happen at MENARDS! Which is right down the road.

talked to an associate on the phone about some mulch that was on sale and she said she would give me that price if I came in the next day even if it was no longer on sale. When i went into the store the next day i was informed it had not been on sale for a few days. But because Tommie informed the other associates that i may be coming in that day. I was given the sale price on 120 bags of mulch. Saving $1.67 per bag. saved $200.40 on some quality mulch. Thanks

Mark in the windows/Doors area was very helpful and knowledgeable regarding all of our questions we had on purchasing a sliding glass door. The store was neat and clean and we would highly recommend shopping at this Home Depot location.

Jake in the window treatment department was very helpful. He has excellent customer service skills and thorough knowledge and understanding of the product we were looking for. A good ambassador for Home Depot.

If you are shopping here don't use your US Bank check card in the chip reader because it won't work. You can't swipe until you try the reader 15 times and then you are allowed to swipe. They know this and still have done nothing about it. It's ridiculous they haven't fixed this problem yet. Card works EVERYWHERE else.

There are way too few employees to help you. You always have to hunt them down. This is a consistent problem. This is the closest store to me and I go there frequently due to my travel time and selection. Menard's and Lowe's are close by, but they don't have the same selection of items. If you have a choice, I would recommend the Elk River Home Depot store.

Went in to purchase a air compressor. Browsed around a few minuets, and found a item I was interested in. Went to get a sales guy, and had to wait 15 minuets. Not bad, I guess. Wanted to hear the compressor run, and get a few specifics before I bought it. That went less than okay. Sales guy knew nothing about the compressor. Had to have another guy come over and get the specifics. Okay. I decided to make the purchase, so I rolled it over to the Register. Paid for the compressor, and was not offered a extended warranty. I asked for one, and received it. I asked the cashier how the warranty worked, and he had no idea. I was told the warranty didn't need to be registered, but the paperwork suggested that I register. 2 Year free Replacement, without many stipulations. Home Depot needs to train the employees about the specifics of the air compressor. Not all of them, but at least if they are oil free or not. For sure on your "House Brand" tools and such. The boxes do not say. And last but not least, train the cashiers on extended warranties you sell!! They should know what they cover, or how the items get fixed if damaged. About what you would expect walking into a "Big Box" hardware store. No actual information, except where to pay.

This home depot has the best staff of any home improvement store in the area. Every time I have been there and needed help I have gotten more help than I could have asked for. I was working on a project and an associate there helped me for about an hour while asked questions and he found products for me. After working with him, I completely changed how the project was designed, and it worked great!

I was greeted at the door by a gentleman, my apologies I do not recall his name, and he gave me direction as to which aisle to search for the item I was there for and the name of the employee I could find and ask for further assistance. I got to the aisle and fortunately Neal came by and helped me find the item I was looking for and had walked by in my search. I made my purchase but then returned to the store for another item. A seasonal item, climbing rocks for play structures. Again, Neal and I happened to cross paths as I searched for the location of the climbing rocks that were listed in stock. We could not fid them, so Neal asked to help from a young man, (again I fail to recall his name) in the area the play structure items should be. This young man was able to find the rocks on a shelf of items yet to be stocked. Successful day a Home Depot!

I'm sure glad that the Coon Rapids store is here! Always clean and well stocked. They could use a few more helpful staff but the staff they do have is always very helpful.

The kithen designer was amazing. She was friendly, helpful, very knowledgeable, and professional. She went above and beyond to accommodate our needs and work around our schedule when it came time to meet and go over plans. Ask for Eugene, she is amazing!!!!!!!

Since having difficulties finding products and with service at other similar stores. I started shopping at Home Depot. They carry a more diversified line of products ( such as Rigid / Milwaukee / Ryboi / etc. ). They carry products from the home handy man to contractor grades with lines of products in between. Generally their staff ( that I have dealt with ) has been much more knowledgeable about their products and have been able to help me when I need assistance in a particular way, instead of an employee that guess's at what the correct part or way an item is supposed to be used, and you get home to find out the sales person had no idea as to what they were talking about. In my dealings with staff at the Home Depot I shop at are trained well not just in how to treat customer, but they have known about the products in the area where they are working and have been able to help me when need and don't guess at how something should be used. This is my overall experiences at Home Depot. I'm sure other people have had different experiences with them. I have switched from the two other main stores like Home Depot because of their variety of products, their willingness to rectify a problem with a tool even when out of warranty ( and I didn't purchase an extended warranty ). This might be a rare occurrence, but it meant they were willing to go the one step farther to keep me satisfied than they had to. This is how a company should be run, like they were 20 - 30 years when the customer meant something when you came to your local hardware store and they did whatever they had to to make sure you were satisfied and got the job you wanted to do correct because they CARED.

I was shopping the after Christmas isle and picked out lights .The sign said everything was 75% off . I thought wow what a great deal after all it was January 7th so I thought they were trying to get rid of everything. I than went to checkout with all my stuff and some other things I needed. As I was checking out I noticed the X-mas stuff was not ringing up on sale at all and was full price. I questioned the cashier and she said there was nothing she could do about it and she wouldn't even call the supervisor . So i put back the Xmas stuff and bought my other things,but I was really disappointed that she wouldn't even help me.

The staff was available from the front door to the point of carrying my purchase to the car. The staff that I encountered were knowledgeable about the products and knew exactly where in the store to find every item.

I'm impressed with how the employees are always available and are very accommodating. Many stores that I go to it is hard to find an employee to assist you. I am a veteran and I thank you for giving veterans 10% discount on merchandise. Furthermore, I am impressed with how Home Depot will give materials, at no cost, to Boy Scouts who are working on their Eagle projects. You deserve an award!

I was a Lowe's shopper but now I am not. I specifically searched better prices after Cyber Monday and It's much better prices versus Lowe's. Same product but cheaper prices. Better deals.
