Although not everyone will be happy with their experience at Home Depot, I find it a very useful place to look for items I need for home use, and even at work. No, they don't always have what I need, and no, the Associates do not always have all the answers to my questions, but, there isn't a place on earth where you can get everything you want every time. Helpful Associates, good selection of items, clean store.

We love the sales associates at Home Depot (especially Brian) they are always helpful and pleasant!

This store always has what I'm looking for at very good prices. I do a lot of DIY type projects to make some extra income to support my family. I appreciate everything about Home Depot in all aspects, truly a company of quality and standards.

I did not want my time in the store to be my lifes work. short and sweet is my shopping method.. store associates are very friendly and helpful. I was able to purchase the correct equipment and leave the store quickly due to associates help. all stores are chopping help in their stores to save money and remain competitive, I get that. electronics will never replace an employee that is eager and willing to assist your customers.

Associates were very fast to help. Found flooring and set up a time to have rooms measured within minutes. They are even able to come this week. Very pleased.

I went to the store expecting to make a purchase but did not realize how easy it would be. There was sufficient product in stock, an associate available to load the product onto my vehicle and a cashier that was friendly and courteous. All-in-all, a great day at Home Depot.

Went in to purchase a few things for a bathroom remodel. Store layout and associate help, especially a woman named Sue, made things quick and simple.

I had the best experience I have ever had shopping and it was at your store. I was shopping to build deck stairs and was trying to figure out what to buy. Your associate John D. came over to assist me. I have never had anyone in any store take the time that he did to help me accomplish planning my project. He asked what I was planning to do and helped guide me in the right direction. He brought things to my attention that I had not thought of. I will go out of my way to let everyone know what an unbelievable experience I had shopping at the Painted Post Home depot and will continue to be a loyal shopper. Associate David was very knowledgable and friendly. He spent extra time to customized my requirement of the track light and other light fixers. He is a good asset to the store and the cashier add a feather to this store by effeciently managing the sale.

It is so rare to find a store where ALL the associates are so friendly and helpful. You can just feel the camaraderie among the employees as well. I wish there were a Home Depot closer to my home! Well done!

Eddie helped me return the product I had purchased. Someone mismarked the wire and she helped me get store credit. Then when there was no one in electrical supplies, Rick showed up and helped me get the right wire. These two employees should be commended for making my visit the best experience I have had at this store. I have always had good experiences at this store but tonight it was great. Check out with Scot was fast and friendly. I really appreciated the assistance.

Store is tidy. Found what I was looking for. Cashier is ignorant!

Everything went well until we got to the lumber area and there was only one person to help the customers in the treated lumber aisle and we had to wait to go into that area because they were unloading some merchandise. Spent almost an hour there.

Store 6159 I like HomeDepot and as a well-wisher I am providing this feedback. I had such a bad experience purchasing home renovation material at Home Depot. Corning Store (No. 6159) has extremely low inventory and very few options. Online orders are delivered in 7-10 business days and in most cases no project can wait that long. It also adds risk of running out of items and reordering them with additional delay. Due to all trouble with HomeDepot (2 miles from my house), I am not frequently visiting Lowes store (25 miles from my house) to purchase all materials (worth more than $15000) and spend more than $500 for truck delivery. 1. Kitchen Cabinets Inventory a. Trudy was exceptional with designing b. Base cabinet price was approx. $4000 c. Any premium product line cabinets were approx. $8000 (with particle board) and $9000 (with plywood). Such a large gap between product line and nothing available in between. i. COMPARISION: At nearby Lowes store, I was able to find cabinets from range of $3500 to $10000. Each step of $1000 has some colors and design option was available. ii. COMPARISION: Local Amish carpenter was providing finished cabinets in $8000 (with plywood) with exceptional carpentry. 2. General Inventory a. Looked for just 6 dimmable switches – Only 3 available in in store i. COMPARISION: At Lowes, I was able to pick up 6 switches easily with more than 24 in stock. b. Looked for recessed LED lights with 5000k temp – As per inventory, 12 were available, actually only 4 available. Delayed my project since special order will not be delivered for next 10 days. i. COMPARISION: At Lowes, no LED lights were available for 4” recessed light cans. Home Depot wins in this case. c. Looked for ceramic tiles for bathroom – Only 8 variety was available in store that too only 4 with more than 100 sqft in quantity. i. For a ceramic tile, it showed available in store, but 0 quantities were available. Inventory wasn’t up to date. ii. COMPARISION: At Lowes, 20+ styles were available. I was able to pick up different wall and floor tiles (4 different types). 3. Customer Service a. Credit Card: It took us more than 30 minutes to go thru the process to apply for the credit card. b. 10% off on first purchase: Cashier had the information of credit card and 10% off on purchase, yet she scanned the entire order and without applying discount finalized the bill. We requested to fix this error, she spend 45 minutes to fix this and at the end she sent us to customer service which took another 30 minutes to fix this. Spent more than 2 hours just to do billing right. c. Needed help to place a special order – It took customer service more than 45 minutes to understand the requirement and place the order. Such a huge waste of time and efficiency. d. Low on staff – During peak hours and lunch break, I found only 1 customer service person at the desk and doing multi-tasking, handling 3 customers and two phone lines at once. Few employees stopped by but not trained enough to handle the situation. i. After hours (from 5PM to 10PM) – I only find restocking staff, no experts to help customers. e. Needed help to track a special order placed in store – None of the employees at customer service desk knew what to do and how to do. Spend 40 minutes but in vain and no one gave me required tracking information. f. Desktop / Self Service System in store – I tried looking up order status myself. I was able to get to my account, but then got system not available error. 4. Product and Installation feedback a. Lights – As I have stated before, no experts were found in store after 5PM. I found a person to help me with recessed lights and based upon his suggestion, I purchased (just being cautious) one can, one bulb and one ring. Later when I tried, I found out they are not compatible. Returned all of that. b. Sheet rock walls – None of the staff members knows how to build the wall with low clearance against poured concrete basement. 5. Offers, Discounts, Promotions and Coupons a. Credit Card offer (10% off on first purchase) – That’s all a credit card holder gets. i. COMPARISION: Lowes provides 10% off on first purchase and 5% on any purchase. b. Coupons: Home Depot does not provide / distribute coupons. i. COMPARISION: Address change with USPS gives two 10% off coupons for Lowes. I used both to purchase more than $5000 worth of goods.

This was my second day in a row working with the Millwork Desk, specifically Blaine. At this 2nd visit I needed skylights, entry doors & patio doors. Blaine spent several hours with me to help me get the most for my money while still getting the quality I desired and the specifications my builder needs ( I am not a builder just a home owner building a new house but very involved with the process of choosing materials). My experience working with Millwork desk was a completely positive experience, their attention to detail and patience was very appreciated, as I said I'm not a builder, had done my home work but ran into questions on specifications or options I had to call my builder for answers, Blaine was patient the whole time and he continued to make sure other customers who came in were taken care of by calling other associates to millwork as he was only one on staff in that dept. while I was there that day. Don't waste your time with other suppliers home depot has it or can get it & well worth the trip!

I worked with the Millwork Desk (doors and windows). Rick, Brian and Blaine were OUTSTANDING! To decide and place actual order of 24 windows Blaine spent several hours with me to make sure every detail was addressed, these windows are for a new house, I chose to research window options & make my own decisions on what window to get (I am not a builder just a home builder who is actively involved with the house process). I can't say enough how helpful & patient Blaine was in working through my large list of windows (24 in total) of varying types and sizes to make sure I got what my builder needed. Of course I called my builder several times during the process to confirm things & Blaine again was very patient. Home Depot is now my top choice for all my home needs.
