Our store diverts waste from landfills by accepting plastic plant pots, CFLs, lead acid batteries, and rechargeable batteries for recycling.
This store recycles all shrink wrap, contributing to the 780 million pounds that The Home Depot has sold to Trex in the past. This is used in composite decking materials, bringing us one step closer to a circular economy.
Since 2010, we have decreased electricity consumption by over 52% in our U.S. stores.
The Home Depot's core values are based on doing the right thing for our associates and customers, and this commitment extends beyond our stores to our local communities, as well as the environment. We are your partners in environmental sustainability. Learn more about our commitment to economic responsibility.

Do you offer small moving boxes?
Pick up an assortment of moving boxes to make your move easier. We've got the sizes you need, including specialty ones like wardrobe and TV boxes. Cushion any and all items with moving blankets and bubble cushion to ensure your belongings make it there safely. Don't forget to check out our rental moving trucks if you need those, too.
Should I get an inverter generator or a portable generator?
Having a generator means you're prepared year-round for whatever circumstances life throws at you. Whether dealing with severe thunderstorms, blizzards or strong winds, a portable generator lets you enjoy power after the elements knock it out. When exploring different generators for sale, don't forget that portable generators cost less and generate more electricity than inverter generators, but they're heavier and louder. Always run your generators outdoors, away from windows and doors, for safety purposes.
Why should I repair my roof before spring severe weather arrives?
Make sure your home is ready for spring temperature swings by replacing any broken or faulty parts of your home and hardscaping. If water freezes in any crevices, you could be in for a real headache. On the outside of your home, examine metal roofing panels or roofing shingles for rust or damage that could let water leak into your home. Gutters should be cleaned to prevent ice dams if you're still prone to ice storms and snow. Check cinder blocks and brickwork for cracks, and ensure indoor ceiling tiles are free from water damage and missing pieces. Lastly, change vinyl siding and chimney caps if they're damaged.
Does The Home Depot sell doorbell cameras?
Enjoy peace of mind, safety, and privacy with a wireless or wired doorbell camera. No more peeking through a nearby window or peephole when you can see visitors in real time. Some doorbell cams even let you chat remotely via your phone, which is useful for delivery people or to scare off potential porch pirates. Most cameras integrate with your smart home hub or app to give you easy accessibility. Choose to save video clips for future reference as needed and worry less with more control.
