Our store diverts waste from landfills by accepting CFLs, lead acid batteries, rechargeable batteries, and plastic plant pots for recycling.
This store recycles all shrink wrap, contributing to the 780 million pounds that The Home Depot has sold to Trex in the past. This is used for composite decking materials, bringing us one step closer to a circular economy.
We have decreased electricity consumption by over 52% in our U.S. stores since 2010.
The Home Depot's core values are based on doing the right thing for our customers and associates. This commitment extends beyond our stores to our local communities, as well as the environment. We are your partners in environmental sustainability. Read more about our commitment to economic responsibility.

What sizes of moving boxes do you carry?
Pick up an assortment of moving boxes to make moving or storage easier. We've got the sizes you need, including specialty ones like wardrobe and TV boxes. Cushion your items with bubble cushion and moving blankets to ensure your belongings make it there safely. Don't forget to check out our rental moving trucks if you need those, too.
Why should I get a generator?
Having a generator means you're prepared year-round for any circumstances life throws at you. Whether you're dealing with strong winds, severe thunderstorms, or snowstorms, a portable generator lets you enjoy electricity after the elements knock it out. When browsing generators for sale, don't forget that portable generators are more affordable and generate more electricity than inverter generators, but they're louder and heavier. Always run your generators outside, away from windows and doors, for safety purposes.
Should I make siding repairs now?
Ready your home for spring temperatures swings and storms by replacing any broken or faulty parts of your home and hardscaping. If water freezes in the crevices, you could be headed for trouble. On the outside of your home, examine metal roofs or shingles for rust or damage that could let water in. Gutters should be clear to prevent ice dams if you're still prone to ice storms and snow. Check cinder blocks and bricks for cracks, and ensure indoor ceiling tiles are free from missing pieces and water damage. Lastly, swap vinyl siding and chimney caps if they're damaged.
Why should I get a doorbell camera?
Enjoy privacy, safety, and peace of mind with a wireless or wired doorbell camera. No more peeking through a peephole or window when you can watch visitors in real time. Some doorbell cams even let you talk to whoever is on your doorstep via your phone, which is useful to scare off potential porch pirates or talk to delivery people. Several cameras integrate with your smart home app or hub to give you easy and flexible accessibility. Save video clips for future reference as needed and worry less with more control.
