The Home Depot Rental Center at Crescent City

When you're ready to make the leap into a DIY project, you might not have every tool you need in the workshop or garage. Don't let that stop you when you can stop by The Home Depot Crescent City Tool Rental Center.

Tool and Equipment Rental
Our tool rental options enlarge your toolbelt and toolbox with the precise tools you need to complete a DIY job. It's impractical to buy a specialized tool when you're rarely reaching for it. When you're thinking about getting a new tool, give it a spin before you choose which one to get. Whatever your situation, we have the power tools you're looking for.

Rent Floor Sanders, Post Hole Diggers, Shop Vacuums, and More
Tackle major jobs with robust power tool rentals. Use a rental tiller to get your garden bed ready for planting or ensure fresh sod lays just right with a sod cutter. Construct a new fence around your pool or property faster and more efficiently with a post hole digger rental, then utilize other concrete tools to securely set your fence posts.

Make Painting Easier with Rental Scaffolding and Ladders
Make the most of warmer weather to paint outdoors. Rent paint sprayers to get professional coverage fast and renew surfaces. Rent scaffolding and ladders to reach elevated areas when painting fences, houses, and sheds. We carry step ladders and extension ladders for medium or smaller jobs, so you won't have to wait when you're ready to get that job done.

Rental Trucks
To move large tool rentals or anything else, we keep flatbed trucks and cargo vans ready for rental — with availability varying by store. We'll have the right size truck rental for your project so you can keep your timeline running smoothly. As your trusted source for DIY jobs, it's simple to make us your go-to source for transport and moving as well.

To get transportation and tools for your DIY or moving project, check out The Home Depot Crescent City Tool and Truck Rental Center. Renting the correct tools for the job is important, so let us help. We're here to help you get that project finished.

Frequently Asked Questions about Rentals

How do I rent trucks or tools?

Stop by your local Rental Center to see what's available. If you want confirmation before you drive there, call first to inquire about a truck or tool. You could also read our tool and equipment rental or truck rental pages to see if what you need is available at your store. For more on renting tools, read our Tool Rental FAQs, which includes equipment terms and conditions.

Can I rent a tool by the hour?

You can rent a tool for four hours or more. Simply choose the length of time that suits you. Small DIY jobs may only require a rental that's a few hours long, and long-term jobs can also be accommodated. You've got options to rent tools by the day, month, or week, too. If you need it longer than what you signed up for, call your Rental Center to arrange an extension and avoid late fees.

When do I return the tools?

You can return the tools early if you complete your project ahead of schedule, but on-time works, too. Just make sure to bring them back by the deadline listed on your rental paperwork. Please clean off residual dust, mud, and grime from the tool as well. If you need the tools longer, give the rental center a call to see if you can extend your rental period.

How long can I rent a truck?

Rent a cargo van, box truck, or flatbed truck for as long as you need it. For short trips, 75 minutes may be enough time. Otherwise, consider renting it by the week or the day, depending on the length of your project. Remember to factor in the drive to and from the store, as you must bring it back to the same store where you rented it. Penske moving truck rentals allow round-trip options as well as one-way options, and they have different terms. Be sure to read the contract before selecting a vehicle.

Should I refill the rental truck with gas before I bring it back?

Yes, please fuel up the truck before you bring it back. Note the original fuel level when you receive the truck, and fill it with enough gas to match that same level. If you don't, you'll be hit with a penalty known as the fuel replacement charge.

Do I just need a driver's license to rent a truck?

No, you must hold a valid driver's license and be over the age of 21. Depending on your state, you might require car insurance, as well as a credit card hold or a deposit, too. Please bring your credit card for Home Depot truck rentals, as we don't accept cash. Penske moving truck rentals have different requirements, so read those if you plan to rent a Penske truck.
