Our store diverts waste from landfills by accepting plastic plant pots, CFLs, lead acid batteries, and rechargeable batteries for recycling.
Our stores sent approximately 5.3M pounds of shredded paper for recycling in 2022. This has helped the planet by preserving over 63.5K trees. It kept over 16K trash bags of solid waste out of landfills, saved over 50M gallons of water, and conserved 7.8M kilowatt hours of electricity.
LED lights in your local store cut energy consumption by 98 million kilowatt hours. Many stores also participate in renewable energy initiatives such as wind and solar.

Do you carry small moving boxes?
Make your move easier by picking up an assortment of moving boxes. We've got the sizes you need, including specialty ones like TV and wardrobe boxes. Cushion your items with bubble cushion and moving blankets to ensure your belongings make it to your next location safely. Remember to check out our rental moving trucks if you need those, too.
Should I get a portable generator or an inverter generator?
We've got the variety you need when searching for a generator for sale. Inverter generators are quieter and cleaner than traditional portable generators. They'll adjust to the required load, making less noise when they create less power. When considering different generators for sale, don't forget that portable generators are more affordable and generate more electricity than inverter generators, but they're heavier and louder. Always run your generators outdoors, away from doors and windows, for safety purposes.
How can I prepare my home for fluctuating spring temperatures?
Ready your home for spring temperature swings by replacing any broken parts of your hardscaping and home. If water freezes in any crevices, you could be in for a real headache. On the outside of your home, examine metal roofs or shingles for rust or damage that could let water in. Gutters should be cleaned to prevent ice dams if you're still prone to ice storms and snow. Check cinder block and brick for cracks, and ensure indoor ceiling tiles are free from water damage and missing pieces. Lastly, change out vinyl siding and chimney caps if in poor condition.
What benefits do doorbell cameras have?
Enjoy privacy, peace of mind, and safety with a wireless or wired doorbell camera. No more peeking through the peephole or an adjacent window when you can watch visitors in real time. Some doorbell cams even let you chat remotely via your phone, which is useful for delivery people or to scare off wannabe porch pirates. Several cameras integrate with your smart home hub or app to give you flexible and easy accessibility. Choose to save video clips for future reference and worry less with more control.
