The BEST customer service experience I've ever had at Home Depot
Ned provided the best customer service I've ever had at a Home Depot. He was so wonderful to work with, polite and just all around fun. If you have to return something on Saturday night make sure Ned takes care of you. Thank you Ned for giving us such a good laugh and an over all enjoyable experience.

      We usually are very satisfied with our Home Depot experiences. Most of the employees are very knowledgeable The store is very clean, and safety procedures are always used. The ability for the employees to use computers to show different options is a definate plus.

      Great help gretchhen and Lisa Garden associates were helpful loading pavers
      Needed 35 bags of pond pebbles Gretchen. Used machines to bring direct,y to my vehicle. She and Lisa jumped in the truck and hand loaded the bags. So easy I came back for another 35 bags. On pervious visits hand to hand load to hand cart push to rigid tear and load in the truck. Here the girls used equipment and more efficient and less work for all involved. Best part they had smiles on their faces the whole time

      Needed ASAP to install Smoke + CO Detecters + returns without a hassle!
      To comply with Code Enforcement Office I had to re-install these for compliance. Rather then drive all the way home, I purchased an excellent drill, screw driver + then paint + a cute box that keeps your paint brush wet + useable when not painting so you don't have to clean it daily before the project is completed. I also returned a GFI that was defective + a can of spray paint new that did not spray. These two items being defective were not the fault of me or Home Depot.

      My best to the loader,I believe his name was Jack. Without him plastic wrapping my drywall purchase I would have left the store empty handed due to a downpour.

      As a young professional having just purchased her first investment property and home, I have many home improvement projects ahead. Despite my lack of knowledge with such projects, Home Depot's hours and devoted employees make my projects headache free and I can't wait to work on my next project!

        I tend to shop a lot at Lowes but decided to stop at Home Depot for a change.It was a great idea on my part. I needed a special order patio door and the associate that helped me was friendly and more than knowledgeable about what I needed. Great job Daryl !!

          Unhappy with the online order system
          I like the staff in the store, and they have always been helpful. I'm not happy with the online ordering system. It is nicely made, easy to maneuver...However, often the items are not in stock and I complete my order expecting to be able to pick up my items in a short time, but get called to tell me they are not in stock. The inventory control system should be adjusted to remove the items when they are purchased so this doesn't happen. Today I attempted to purchase the Ryobi 18-volt Lithium-Ion Impact driver kit that is on sale for $129 from $179 (part number P881). The website shows 2 in stock at the store. I placed the order, paid with my Home Depot card and a short time later was called and told it was not in stock. Either the inventory system does not work, or there is a theft problem at that store. I would like to be able to purchase items through the site, but this isn't the first time this has happened.

          The people that work at the service desk are not on the same page.One person tells you one thing and some one else tells you some totally different. THE WHOLE STORE NEEDS TO BE ON THE SAME PAGE!!

          I went to Home Depot because of its location. It was on our way to our next stop . Your price of chicken wire was a good deal. I needed to make a few cages for my plants. I have as woodchuck that has been eating all my plants.

          Oustanding Customer Service
          I want to acknowledge the Oustanding Customer Service I received yesterday from John in the Hardware Department! I walked in to the Store knowing that I wanted to talk directly to an associate as I had limited time (as I was on my lunch break). I needed several different items relating to driveway repair work ranging from special saw blades to cold tar and more...As soon as I stepped foot near the Hardware deparment John approached me asking if I needed assistance. "Perfect" I thought. In less than 5 minutes John walked me to several different areas in the hardware department assisting me all along the way in selecting each and every item on my list. He was friendly, helpful, knowledgible and validated why I do 95% of my home maintenance and repair shopping at Home Depot! PLEASE acknowledge John in the best way you can for his Customer Service and committment to excellence. (I am the controller for a retail company just around the corner - I know how hard it is to find good help like John! He is an example of the type of employees we try to hire!) I have been shopping at Home Depot for as long as I can remember and this experience will keep bringing me (and my wife) back! Thank you!

            Very bad experience
            The product availability was not there, the associate gave extremely poor service - was of no help and poor attitude, the associate never called other stores in the area to see if the product was in stock, found damaged product that was unsaleable, the store was not clean, will go to Lowe's which is less than a mile away next time when needing a product or go to another location way out of my way to get better service.

            Will not go back
            Went in on a Sunday to get pick up an order and had the worst shopping experience ever, I would not recommend going into the store on the weekends as the staff was unprofessional and they took 4 hours and 33 minutes to pull a 45 item order, As a business owner, time is money and the store only seems to care about making it and not the customers who come in daily to keep them in business, I will not be going back to The Home Depot at any location

            Great Experience!
            My daughter wanted to paint our fence and I needed to buy paint. I didn't know anything about paint or how much was needed. I went to the paint counter and described our project to the gentleman. He made recommendations based on our project details, returned with the paint that we needed and made further recommendations for other materials needed for the job and educated my daughter and I on the products we needed and the choices that were available.

                Great Experience because of Paint Associate Assistance
                Very Good in Store experience. I have needed assistance from different departments on different occasions. Even when the experienced associate from a particular department was out sick or on vacation - other associates from different departments stepped up to help me find a product. I like low priced items but customer service is very high on my list of priorities. Home Depot caters more to contractors - However as a NON Contractor I welcome and appreciate the help your Dewitt store associates provide. Low prices are a definite PLUS in going to your store But Friendly, Knowledgable Associates rates right up there.

                I walked by a store associate twice and it seems like he had better things to do so he didn't even acknowledge me or my 2 year old daughter when we walked past him twice. Not even a hello, how are you today, can I help you find anything, Not even a smile.. My daughter said hello but we didn't get a response. After I notice I couldn't find the product I was looking for I tried getting his attention but he just walked away..
