The Home Depot Rental Center at East Brandon

Take on any DIY project with the tools you need — even if you don't have them on hand. Rent the tools, use them, and take them back when you're done. You can complete your project without taking up your shed or garage with tools you rarely reach for.

Tool and Equipment Rental
Using The Home Depot East Brandon Tool Rental Center helps you handle bigger DIY projects. No more old hand-me-down tools that limit what you can do. Complete your project confidently and safely by renting quality tools. If your local store doesn't have a tool you need in stock, you could find it at another one within driving distance.

Add Insulation When the Weather is Cooler
To make your home more energy efficient, upgrade your insulation in the spring — before it gets dangerously hot in your attic. Rent equipment made for insulation to install it correctly. Choose from a cellulose insulation blower or a fiberglass blower, and insulate those nooks and crannies with ease. You'll enjoy a more consistent home temperature and steadier utility bills with new insulation.

Tame the Trees and Lawn Early
Greet the spring with outdoor power equipment rentals and whip the yard into shape again. Neaten the yard with a rental lawn mower and leaf blower, the trees and hedges with a chainsaw, and the driveway and sidewalks with a pressure washer. Your outdoor oasis will be looking fresh and ready for new spring flowers before you know it.

Truck Rental
To move large tool rentals or anything else, we keep flatbed trucks as well as box trucks on hand — with availability varying by store. We also offer Penske moving trucks ranging from 12-foot to 26-foot lengths at certain stores. We'll have the right size truck rental for your DIY project so you can keep your timeline running smoothly. As your trusted source for DIY and storage projects, it's simple to make us your go-to source for transport and moving as well.

Large Equipment Rentals
Complete massive projects with professional power equipment. Our large equipment rentals give you the power you need to finish the job yourself. From the scissor lifts to give you a boost to the mini skid steers and excavators capable of hauling materials on outdoor job sites, we've got a surprising variety of equipment available. If a large equipment rental could help you, explore our selection to see what we've got in stock.

Although we're calling out popular tool, large equipment, and truck rentals, our rental center may not have everything on hand for your required time frame. If you've got a particular tool in mind, please contact your local rental center to see where you can pick it up.

Frequently Asked Questions about Rentals

How do I rent large equipment, tools, or trucks?

Stop by your local Rental Center to see what tools or trucks you can rent. If you'd like confirmation before you drive there, call first to inquire about a tool, truck, or large equipment. You may also check out our tool and equipment rental or truck rental pages to see if what you need is in stock at your store. For more on renting large equipment or tools, read these Tool Rental FAQs, including equipment terms and conditions.

Can I rent a tool or large equipment for a month?

You can rent large equipment or tools for four hours or more. It depends on how long you'd like to rent them. Small DIY projects may only require a short rental period, and we can accommodate large projects as well. You've got options to rent large equipment and tools by the day, week, or month, too. If you need it longer than what you signed up for, call your Rental Center to arrange an extension and avoid late fees.

When do I return the tools?

It's fine to return the tools early if you complete your project faster than planned, but on-time works, too. As long as you return it by the deadline you were given when you rented it, you'll be good to go. Please clean off any mud or dirt from the tool as well. If you need the tools longer, give the rental center a call to see if you can extend your rental period.

How long can I rent a truck?

Rent a truck or cargo van for as long as you need it. For short trips, 75 minutes could be plenty. Otherwise, consider renting it by the day or the week, depending on the length of your project. Don't forget to factor in the drive between the job site and the store, as you'll need to bring it back to the same store where you rented it. Penske moving truck rentals allow one-way rentals as well as round-trip options, and they have different terms. Be sure to read the contract and terms and conditions before selecting a truck.

Should I refill the rental truck before I bring it back?

Yes, please fuel up the truck before you return it. Match the level of gas that was in the tank when you received the rental. If you don't, you'll have to pay a penalty known as the fuel replacement charge.

Can I rent large equipment or a truck with only a driver's license?

No, you must hold a valid driver's license and be 21 or older. Depending on your state, you might require car insurance, as well as a credit card hold or a deposit, too. We don't accept cash for Home Depot truck rentals, so please bring your credit card. Penske moving truck rentals have different requirements. Large equipment or select tools also require ID verification via CLEAR.

Do I need to go get my rented large equipment?

Depending on your location, you may be able to get large equipment dropped off at your job site for a reasonable cost — whether that's at your home or out in the field. We'll need at least 24 hours notice so we can adequately prepare your rented equipment and you'll need to rent it for a full day. Speak to an associate for the best way to get your large equipment.

How do I avoid penalties and extra fees on rented large equipment?

Think of your large equipment rentals as any other vehicle: Make sure you obey traffic laws and it's parked legally. Read the operator's manual so you're using it correctly to avoid injuring yourself or damaging the equipment. Also, plan ahead to ensure the equipment is ready when you are. If you cancel within 12 hours of your scheduled delivery, you'll pay a cancellation fee. Extend your rental period if you need extra time so you won't get dinged with a late fee.
