I got to this home depot quite often. I'm always greeted warmly by all of the staff there, made to feel welcome. I'm in remodeling, so buy stuff from all departments. All staff are friendly and knowledgeable and this make it easier to make the purchases needed in a quick manner and gets me to my jobsite quicker. I'm at all home depot in the area but like the Madison Eastside location the best and have for the last 20 + years. Thank you.

Happy with my choice on the Rigid R86011, & accessory kit AC87024SB2. With 485 ft-lbs of fastenings and 620 ft-lbs of breakaway torque. V.S More $ and only 30 ft-lbs of torque difference from other competitor of my choice.

Don’t expect to get one at this store and don’t even ask…they do not care!

This Home Depot location is understaffed. Staff do not seem well trained or knowledgeable.

I used the Home Depot to attempt to find a contractor/help to install a new exterior door for my home. I was asked to place a deposit for this (I was given the option to not do so). However, at no point during this process was an estimate given to me. A contractor reached out to me to come measure my door. At that point I asked for an estimate for install. The contractor could not provide one. I was unable to replace the door I wanted to replace due to it being more complicated than expected. Questions that prohibited this work were not asked of me during my sign up. I then provided a different door that also needed replacement, which the contractor took measurements of and sent in. I received a call to come in to pick out my door, but was not told I would need a custom door and was under the assumption a standard door would fit. The only person I could meet with was only available during business hours and I could not make an appointment, so I had to take time off work to “swing by” and hope he would be available. Jim was very nice and clearly good at his job, but the meeting took a long time. At no point was the installation cost provided to me until I was ready to swipe my card. Nearly $800 just for installation. Leaving me a bill of over $1500 for a simple exterior service door. I was not walked through the cost of this installation or what it would entail. I felt there was a complete disregard for transparency during this process. I will not be using Home Depot for this type of project in the future.

In the past two years, everything I’ve bought at the store has had to come back. In this case, the toilet that I bought was completely broken when I got at home. Last month the bathroom sink Stand that I bought was 3 inches too short from what the specs said they were. Whenever I try to order online from the store the items that they say are in stock in the store are never there and I have to wait a week for them to be shipped. Really dissatisfied with this Eastside store

We have had the pleasure of working with Chris in home appliances twice and both times he was professional and friendly. The store overall is clean and well stocked and we were greeted warmly by every employee we encountered during our visit.

Everyone working at Home Depot was fine. I only shopped there out of necessity but normally don’t support this company since they donate to the campaign of convicted felons.

Confronted at door and told dogs not allowed a year ago. I dont shop here anymore if i can help it.

I purchased a roll of tape, stop asking to rate/review all purchase. I don't like to shop at Home Depot because of this nonsense.

I went to the store prepared with a list of things I needed to fix my kitchen drain. James in the Plumbing dept was so helpful, walking me through additional things I might need. Once I got home, he was absolutely right and used what he suggested. Thank you Home Depot for outstanding employees who know what they are selling!

Customer service was top notch and received help finding what I needed.

I was there to purchase a new water softe er and the associates were kind, helpful and took a lot of time making sure I had everything in order and prepares for an installer.

The employee seem far more interested in their conversations with each other, then answering your question. Even to the point of arguing that an item was removed from the store and no longer stocked when it was actually right around the corner. I was glad I was there to answer another customers question about the same item as I was checking out.

BEWARE--- NO item may be returned after 90 days, not even for store credit & with a receipt. We were stunned. We have several rental units so its difficult to make the 90 day cutoff sometimes. We didnt know about it so we didnt worry about it if we were there & had forgotten it out in the car. We will only purchase absolutely necessary things from Home Depot from now on.

store hours are not update and watch when you buy a faucet, hoses may not be included.

I bought a washing machine and dish washer and paid the installation fee and after a months still not installed and customer service people suck. Im still waiting to see if they ever going to install my appliances. Please do not buy anything from them ever.

The people working here are just lost in a Conant store full of space. A robot that just took you to the ladders would be more helpful.

Troy greeted me while I was searching for an item. He was friendly, knowledgeable and helpful. He helped me with other questions I had also. He was taking good care of his customers.

Ordered from the web what should have been brand new products I received floor models and even though they offered me a gift card There was still disappointment One of the items was missing a part and the replacement item is also a floor model. I'm still waiting for the missing part. I have e mailed about this and placed phone calls about this and on the phone I was told it would be ordered and mailed to me well we will see, hope so

I ordered laminate countertops from this location. The sample I liked showed a white laminate but didn't show the brown that is in it as well. I was very disappointed to find out after I ordered it as it doesn't match the room decor.

The last 3-4 times I have been in this store, I have been able to find what I needed and at a good price. My only issue is the lack of assistance available. From trying to find out where something is located, question about the item or in checking out. It seems like they are very short staffed, although when i went to check out, there were 3 employees standing there while there while a line formed behind the single open register which was self-check out.

Some employees at Home Depot East Madison WI., USA are so efficient that when I left my shopping cart parked in the Aisle, as I went into the restroom for barely 3 minutes - an employee took my cart with my shopped items and was already beginning put them back on the shelves! WOW! (DO NOT PUBLICLY POST MY eMail).

New to the Madison WI area. We lived in Wauwatosa WI and are both used to the Wauwatosa and the Waukesha Home Depot, and always liked both. This store is just as nice, same set-up, thus it feels we are still “home”. Staff are friendly and helpful.
