      El Hércules Home depo is one of my favorites they have the best workers Lukas is one of them this guy is one of the best workers I ever met from Home Depot i want you to tanks him he is a great guy please give him a shout out from one of your customers
      I tried to go to el Hercules Home Depot because they have everything very organized they workers are very nice they trained berry good I love how you guys are working don’t forget Pedro hi is the vest

          Super Helpful at the Paint Store - Choosing the right color tints from Kelly Moore
          Loved that I could ask for Paint tints from Kelly Moore although they went out of business more than a year ago. It was helpful and inexpensive the way that the paint department made sure I had the required samples to test and helped with the process. Also at the register, the checkout team got me through self serve quickly and with the right business code for the business account phone number.

            I asked for some help from customer service, and I stayed there for 1/2 hour, but no one came to assist me.

              Great store - wonderful staff.
              We bought the wrong toilet - we had failed measure before we went shopping. Oh,duh. Patrick was helpful and very fun as we searched for one that would fit. I can't wait to go back and buy something from him --he's THAT entertaining!

                Employees has no interest in helping you.
                Possibly worse run HD and poorly stocked. Employees has hatred for customers or doing any work. Super lazy or mostly unavailable.

                  Reliable source for hardware at competitive to good prices
                  Home Depot is a big box store of hardware, gardening and building supplies. You can track down service in the store and ask questions if you need advice but, for me, it's a great place to go when you already know what you want and want to get in, pick up your supplies and get back out in a quick and efficient manner, and then get back to work on your project. El Cerrito is a handy location and I like shopping there.

                      Shop somewhere else!
                      If you need an associate to get something locked up don't bother using the QR code posted just for that reason. It doesn't work or the employees just don't care.

                        Needs better care of the parking lot.
                        Store is great, but the parking lot is often disgusting, with garbage everywhere. I have a contractor friend who dislikes this store so much that he drives to the Hercules Home Depot.

                            I am a licensed professional and cannot justify the time required for procurements at Home Depot.

                              FLOORING
                              I purchased laminated flooring for 2 rooms. I paid the required $50.00 fee for measurements to be taken of the rooms. During that visit a video was made of the 2 rooms, It showed all the furniture in the rooms. The person doing the measurement talked about the bed and large chest of draws would be moved by the installers.. I placed and paid for the flooring and installation. On the day of installation, one installer showed up, looked at the chest of drawers and said he could not move it by himself. The next day 2 installers showed up, went right to work and then discovered there was not enough material for both rooms. They told me they had reported the problem to their office and I be getting a call. No one called me. I waited 2 days before I called. I was told the additional material had been ordered and it should be delivered in 10 days. JW flooring will call me to set up an appt for installation.

                                This store is better stocked than emeryville. The customer service is great. They have even helped me load my car! Its not my closest home depot but my fav. Their saw was not working yeaterday so i would check to make sure it is if you need to cut down some lumber.

                                  Bad customer service - gift card not honored
                                  The El Cerrito home depot staff and the company's #800 gave me the run-around and wasted an hour+ of my time when I tried to use a gift card. The self-check staff scratched too much of the silver off the gift card and messed up the pin #. Could not use the $100 gift card, was told to call company #800. Went home, called #800, and the company rep told me to go back to the store with the gift card and receipt (which my friends had taped to the gift card). After waiting in Customer Service line, staff tried yo call the same #800 but could not reach any person, then the El Cerrito store manager told me to take the gift card to the Livermore, where it was purchased, to get a new pin #. El Cerrito to Livermore is 435-75 minutes / 25 miles each way depending on traffic. DON'T TRY CUSTOMER SERVICE IN El CERRITO. Do NOT buy Home Depot Gift Cards.

                                      Waited in return line forever
                                      Horrible store. The return line was so long and not moving it was winding out the door and only 2 people working. (Returninga product bought online that was delayed so many times i couldnt use it). Checkout line equally long. It was so much worse than last time I went there a year ago. It was so dirty and nobody to ask questions of. I’ll never go back.

                                            Self checkout and restructuring of store ailes.
                                            You’re decision to “reorganize” the store was a big mistake. The logistics of putting drywall at the front is insane. It creates a huge log jamb for people loading lumber and trying to get to the checkout are impeded. Your excuse for locking everything up doesn’t hold water. Your profit margins have gone up every year and your losses have stayed steady for years. Your decision to introduce self checkout only serves to increase these profits and reduce employees. I will be forming a movement to work toward penalizing companies, including Home Depot, that directly impact the rate of worker layoffs due to automation. Also the direct impact on Social Security revenue due to automation, threatens the future of many generations. If you are going to force people to stay home, you should have to pay the price.

                                                Great service! Randi, one of the associates, was very attentive and helpful. Rather than simply telling me where the trash cans were, he walked with me to them and helped move the carts that were blocking access to the trash cans. I had trouble with the scanner at the pay station; one of the cashiers immediately intervened and then scanned all of my items for me.

                                                  Fabulously smart and helpful employee!
                                                  Laura is the best! I went to the store to investigate replacement window screens and not only was Laura patient and helpful, she was able to assist me in purchasing the items necessary to make them myself! She explained the process and showed my a DIY youtube and selected the materials and tools I would need and guess what? I successfully completed 6 replacement screens! I couldn't be happier or more proud of myself! Thank you Laura!

                                                    Home Depot has changed
                                                    I haven't been to Home Depot for about 6 months. Now everything is under lock and key. This used to be a store where it was impossible to get help and took forever to check out. Not any more. The staff are everywhere, very helpful and the checkout process is seamless. I'm not sure when all these changes took place, but I'm very happy to experience this.

                                                      I've never found what I needed at a Home Depot or if I did, the quality was poor. Employees seem "beaten" down. Self-checkout is really depressing! The Home Depot business model has really destroyed the hardware industry!

                                                        Trash all over the lot, terrible. Also the Self-checkout stands are crammed too close together. and no associates to help or perform your check-out except one associate on the far end of the store. If you are able go to a different Home Depot, they are cleaner!!!

                                                          I had a top notch experience at Home Depot today. I was surprisingly amazed with assistance from employee Del Bryant. He greeted me at door, asked what I was shopping for, showed me where it was, helped me load in cart. It was a full service experience. first FABULOUS experience at this store! Home Depot needs to clone Del! Thanks!

                                                            The staff that work at this location in the morning are fantastic. George, Jenny and Johnny and Mr. Dell are all fantastic with their customer service. I always know if I find one of them I’m going to get whatever project I need completed.
