How do I rent a tool?
Stop by the Rental Center at your nearest Home Depot to see what's available. You can also call first to confirm a tool's availability, or check out our tool and equipment rental page to see if it's offered at your favorite store. If it's not, check another nearby store or reach out to our Rental Center associates to find where that tool may be available. Can I rent a tool for an hour?
You can rent a tool for four hours or more. Simply choose the length of time that suits you. Small DIY jobs may only require a rental that's a few hours long, and we can accommodate large projects as well. You've got options to rent tools by the month, week, or day, too. If you need it longer than what you signed up for, call the Rental Center for an extension and avoid late fees.
When do I bring the tools back?
You're welcome to return the tools early if you finish your project ahead of schedule, but on-time works, too. As long as you return it by the deadline you were given when you rented it, you'll be good to go. Please clean off mud and grime from the tool as well. If you need the tools longer, give the rental center a call to see if you can extend your rental period.
Do saw blades come with wet saw rentals?
Yes, saw rentals usually come with blades, but we recommend that you get a new one. Your rental likely won't come with a new blade. However, you may luck out and receive an excellent blade on the saw. As there's no guarantee, it's better to buy a suitable blade, just in case you need it.
