Our store diverts waste from landfills by accepting lead acid batteries, rechargeable batteries, plastic plant pots, and CFLs for recycling.
Our stores sent approximately 5.3M pounds of shredded paper for recycling in 2022. This has helped the planet by preserving over 63.5K trees. It kept over 16K trash bags of solid waste out of landfills, saved over 50M gallons of water, and conserved 7.8M kilowatt hours of electricity.
LED lights in your local store cut down energy consumption by 98 million kilowatt hours. Many stores also participate in renewable energy initiatives like solar and wind.
The Home Depot's core values are based on doing the right thing for our customers and associates, and this commitment extends beyond our stores to our local communities and the environment. We are your partners in environmental sustainability. Read more about our eco actions.
Welcome to the Escondido Home Depot. It is a great day to get started on a new home improvement project.
No matter what home project you've taken on, we're here to help you finish it. From window air conditioning units to garbage disposals and small refrigerators, you'll find it at your Escondido Home Depot. Let our associates get you in and out with the supplies you came for. Find the right product using our Home Depot product locator app. It displays a store map so you can ensure the product is in stock and know exactly where to find it. You can even use the barcode lookup to find detailed information on every item we carry.
At The Home Depot, getting involved in our local community is important to us. We support Pioneer Elementary School by hosting projects for the students and improving the grounds.
You can find us south of the intersection of I-15 and CA-78, on the corner of 9th Avenue and West Valley Parkway, between Staples and Big Lots. We hope you'll stop by soon. Make sure to browse our local ad before you visit to plan for great in-store deals.
Sincerely,
The Escondido Store Team
What's your selection of moving boxes like?
Pick up an assortment of moving boxes to make moving or storage easier. We've got the sizes you need, including specialty ones like wardrobe and TV boxes. Cushion any and all items with bubble cushion and moving blankets to ensure your belongings make it there safely. Don't forget to check out our moving truck rentals if you need those, too.
Why should I get a generator?
Having a generator means you're prepared for any circumstances Mother Nature throws at you. Whether you're dealing with hurricanes, tornados, or strong winds, a portable generator lets you enjoy power after the elements take it out. When considering different generators for sale, keep in mind that portable generators cost less and generate more electricity than inverter generators, but they're louder and heavier. For safety purposes, always run your generators outside, away from doors and windows.
What home repairs should I make sooner rather than later?
Make sure your home is ready for spring temperature swings by replacing or repairing broken parts of your home and hardscaping. If water freezes in any crevices, you could have problems. On the outside of your home, examine roofing shingles or metal roofs for damage or rust that could let water leak in. Gutters should be clear to prevent ice dams if you're prone to frozen precip as the seasons change. Check bricks and cinder block for cracks. Indoors, verify ceiling tiles are free from water damage and missing pieces. Lastly, change vinyl siding and chimney caps if damaged.
Does The Home Depot sell doorbell cameras?
Enjoy safety, privacy, and peace of mind with a wireless or wired doorbell camera. No more peeking through a nearby window or peephole when you can see human or animal visitors in real time. Some doorbell cams even let you talk to whoever is on your doorstep via your phone, which is useful for delivery people or to scare off would-be porch pirates. Many cameras integrate with your smart home hub or app to give you easy accessibility. Save video clips for future reference and worry less with more control.
