Our store diverts waste from landfills by accepting lead acid batteries, rechargeable batteries, plastic plant pots, and CFLs for recycling.
This store recycles all shrink wrap, contributing to the 780 million pounds that The Home Depot has sold to Trex in the past. This is used to manufacture composite decking, bringing us one step closer to a circular economy.
LED lights in your local store reduced energy consumption by 98 million kilowatt hours. Many stores also participate in renewable energy initiatives like solar and wind.
The Home Depot's core values are based on doing the right thing for our associates and customers. This commitment extends beyond our stores to the environment and our local communities. We are your partners in environmental sustainability. Learn more about our eco actions.

Do you offer small moving boxes?
Pick up an assortment of moving boxes to make your move easier. We've got the sizes you need, including specialty ones like TV and wardrobe boxes. Cushion any and all items with moving blankets and bubble cushion to ensure your belongings make it there safely. Don't forget to check out our moving truck rentals if you need those, too.
Should I get an inverter generator or a portable generator?
We've got the variety you need when searching for a generator for sale. Inverter generators are cleaner and quieter than traditional portable generators. They adjust to whatever power load is requested. This means they'll make less noise while they create less power. When shopping for generators for sale, keep in mind that portable generators cost less and generate more electricity than inverter generators, but they're louder and heavier. Always run your generators outside, away from windows and doors, for safety purposes.
Should I make siding repairs now?
Make sure your home is ready for spring temperature swings by replacing any broken parts of your hardscaping and home. If water freezes in any crevices, you could be in for major repairs later. On the outside of your home, examine metal roofs or shingles for rust or damage that could let water in. Gutters should be clear to prevent ice dams if you're still prone to ice storms and snow. Check bricks and cinder blocks for cracks, and verify indoor ceiling tiles are free from missing pieces and water damage. Lastly, change out vinyl siding and chimney caps if in poor condition.
Does The Home Depot sell doorbell cameras?
Enjoy peace of mind, safety, and privacy with a wireless or wired doorbell camera. No more peeking through a peephole or window when you can see animal or human visitors in real time. Some doorbell cams even let you talk to whoever is on your doorstep via your phone, which is useful to scare off would-be porch pirates or talk to delivery people. Most cameras integrate with your smart home hub or app to give you flexible accessibility. Save video clips for future reference and worry less with more control.
