Shopping to me at Home Depot is like a kid in the candy store. I love wandering up and down the aisles looking only inventory and new products. I don't think I've ever not found the item I was looking forward to buy.

I needed to replace a ballast and had no idea where to begin, my previous ballast was put in in 1996. The staff working the electrical department showed me the right part and when I got home to have my husband put it in, it worked perfectly! See..... you can send a inexperienced female out to find an item she has no idea about and then have her come home with the right part! Made me look awesome, thank you!

The associates in the paint department are very knowledgable and willing to help. I had many questions that were answered and advice received was just what I needed. There is a great variety of paint supplies and the price is right!

Store was clean and from the greeter to the associate in paint to the cashier, they were friendly and helpful. When you smile, I smile!

The store is an excellent place to visit to choose items for your home inside and out. and also if you need a repair , that can also be done. If you want to find out more about a product you can scan the QR code.

it was ok! I asked an employee what isle a product was on and he told me it was on 7b and it was on 11b ??? Better training is needed i think and better knowledge of where products are located in the store?? Just saying. If I ran that store it would be to p notch! Not mediocre!!!!

This store is always well organized, I can easily find what I'm looking for and it is hardly crowded like the other Virginia Beach Home Depots.

Michelle in flooring was awesome. She took the time to assist me with my special order of flooring. I had to order different flooring and am going to install it myself since the manager would not honor the posted sign when I ordered my measurement. The difference was $500 on a $5500 order. So I canceled that order and purchased some Bamboo flooring that I will do myself. If it was not for Michelle I would not have purchased any flooring from this store.

Nikki in the paint area is exceptional. Knowledgeable, courteous. Great customer service.

The store associate, Magail is a treasure and should be commended.for her outstanding service. She went over and above to help me find a product that was listed on the website as being in stock, but could not be found when I arrived at the store. She worked tirelessly searing through aisles and pallets until she located the item. I appreciate her outstanding show of helpfulness and concern for customer satisfaction. I wish all associates were at least half as helpful and caring as Magail. Thank you again Magail.

I needed assistance loading my car and had to break down the box. There was an associate in the parking lot - he didn't want to help me and said I had to take the empty box home. There was no room for this in my car and he said HD doesn't take empty boxes. Really? I noticed his orange bib didn't have his name displayed and when I asked, he said it was "MacGyver". Well, this may have seemed funny to him but he didn't help me or figure anything out like MacGyver would have…I walked to box back inside to be meet by a sales associate that apologized for his actions and said HD would certainly take the box and it was no trouble. I found out that the parking lot associate was really named Chris. Why would he lie about his name? I don't think this is the way HD should treat their customers.

I was in a hurry and had 3 specific items to find. The first two associates, after having to interrupt them, told me my first item "was somewhere in the paint dept." They pointed to where the paint dept. was, and offered no further assistance. Almost immediately another associate,Kristen, came by, and although she was clearly there to do something else, told me where my first item was located and said, "I'll even take you there." She did the same with the next two items. She knew where the products were, she promptly and courtiously brought me to each and could not have been a better sales associate. So my rating for the first two associates would be a literal "0" and Kristen gets an "100." I used to teach customer service, so I hope that adds a little gravitas to my sincere and honest review!

but you folks have found it! I had a great experience at your store. The associates were very friendly, especially Winona who gave me exemplary service and was kind and knowledgeable. Since I work in a field where your products are mandatory to do my job, it helps to know that I'll have a place to go and get the help I need finding said products. Thank you!

I received help and both the sales person as well as the cashier were very pleasant and helpful. They had very good knowledge of the products I was purchasing.

Doing some landscaping and gardening this Spring and Home Depot has been our "go to" store. 5 minutes from our house and we have been able to get everything we need for our project and yesterday three associates helped us load some very heavy items into our vehicle. That's service.

Looking for a trellis for my roses- found just what I needed at good price.

My visits to this store are quick and efficient. I go away with everything that I came in for and sometimes more. The associates are friendly and helpful. I am specifically impressed by "Pops" in the paint department and the assistance that I have received in the plumbing department.
