When you're beginning to dive into a big home improvement project, you might not have all the tools you need in your garage or shed. Don't let that stop you when you can stop by The Home Depot Tool Rental Center in Glendora.
Tool Rental
Our tool rental options enlarge your toolbelt with the exact tools you require to complete the job. It's not practical to get a specialty tool when you're not using it frequently. When you're searching for a new tool, try it out before you select which to purchase. Whatever your situation, we have the tools you're looking for.
Leaf Blowers
Try renting a leaf blower to clean up any remaining fallen leaves. Spring will be sooner than you think, so have a leaf blower ready to go. It's less physical labor than raking, and warmer, too. It's also more effective on sidewalks, driveways, and hardscaping. Choose from walk-behind, backpack, or handheld leaf blowers, and get a jump on lawn and garden upkeep as fall changes to winter.
Chainsaws
Preserve the beauty and safety of the shrubs in your yard with a rental chainsaw. Because you probably won't use this tool daily, rent it when it's time for some yard cleanup. When the leaves are off the trees, it's much easier to spot any troublesome branches and do basic trimming. We carry electric and gas chainsaws, so you'll certainly find one that fits your job.
Load 'N Go Trucks
To move large equipment rentals, we keep Load 'N Go pickup trucks ready for rental. Choose the correct size for your DIY project so you can keep your job on track. As your trusted source for DIY projects, storage needs, and packing, it's simple to make us your source for truck rental as well.
Whether you're in need of power tools like table saws or everyday tools like impact drivers, we've got you covered. We'll even rent you the vehicle to get it to your project site. Let us help you complete your next DIY project with the best tools and transit for the project.
How do I rent tools or trucks?
Stop by the Rental Center at your nearest Home Depot to see which tools or trucks you can rent. If you want confirmation before you drive there, call first to inquire about a truck or tool. You can also read our tool rental or truck rental pages to see if what you need is at your store. For more information on renting tools, read our Tool Rental FAQs, which includes equipment terms and conditions.
How long can I rent tools?
You can rent a tool for four hours or more. It depends on how long you'd like to rent them. Small home improvement jobs may only require a short rental period, and we can accommodate large projects as well. You've got options to rent tools by the day, week, or month, too. If you need it longer than anticipated, call your Rental Center for an extension and avoid late fees.
When do I bring the tools back?
You can return the tools early if you finish your project faster than planned, but on-time works, too. Just make sure to bring them back by the deadline listed on your rental paperwork. Please clean off dust, mud, and grime from the tool as well. If you need them longer, call the rental center to see if you can extend your rental period.
Can I rent a truck for a few hours?
Rent a moving van or truck for as long as you need it. For short trips, 75 minutes might be plenty. Otherwise, consider renting it by the week or the day, depending on the length of your project. Don't forget to factor in the drive between the store and the job site, as you must return it to the same store where you rented it. Penske moving truck rentals allow round-trip options as well as one-way options, and they have different terms. Make sure to read the provided documentation before choosing your truck.
Do I need to refuel the rental truck when I'm done?
Yes, please fuel up the truck before you bring it back. Match the level of gas that was in the tank when you got the rental. When you don't refill the rental truck, you'll be hit with a penalty known as the fuel replacement charge.
Do I just need a driver's license to rent a truck?
No, you also need to be 21 or older, in addition to holding a valid driver's license. Depending on your state, you might require car insurance, as well as a credit card hold or a deposit, too. We don't accept cash for Home Depot truck rentals, so please bring your credit card. Penske moving truck rentals have different requirements.
