Since this store has opened it has always had problems in the lumber department. The biggest problem is that bunks aren't filled when they are empty or when they are getting low. It's time consuming enough to gather materials but when you have to contact an associate and they have to block off the isles and bring down the materials it's even more time consuming. That's if they can locate a forklift. I think that it's important for the Home Depot employees to keep in mind that contractors don't get paid by the hour like they do. Times money! Absolutely no reason that materials shouldn't be stocked. It's almost like a game to see which Home Depot Associate can get away with not stocking the bunk. It's just frustrating! I must say that I have never had any problems with the Littleton store at Hampden & C470. I think that it's a great store. Never had any problem with getting materials at any of the Lowe's Stores either. If they weren't further away I would shop them more and maybe I should anyway. Some things never change do they Golden Home Depot?

We went to just look at and price kitchen appliances for our new home. We ended up purchasing our refrigerator, stove, space saver microwave and dishwasher right there on the spot ! The number of selections, the quality of everything, the pricing and the help given by the associate was unbeatable. Home Depot has their website and computer capability so refined that we were able to see and compare comparable appliances immediately on the big screen before making our final decision. The associate printed out our final choices so that we could investigate details before our purchase. If you want purchasing any or all of your kitchen appliances to be easy and with confidence that you've made the right decision --- get to Home Depot NOW !

The store associate, Jodi Davis, was just beyond awesome to work with. I will definitely be back with my next appliance shopping list.

With all the remodeling we are doing on our house, Home Depot is our second home. We like to visit the one in Golden because it's always less crowded and the associates are extremely friendly. The only reason I give helpfullness good instead of excellent is because a few times lately, we can't seem to find someone in the department in which we are looking. In lumber, we had to wait about 10 minutes to get an associate to help us. In appliances, we waited over 20 minutes for assistance. There were 8 or so associates at the front standing around, but none of them had knowledge about appliances. Other than a few longer-than-usual wait times, this is a great store with the best prices around! Compared to Lowes and Sears especially, Home Depot definitely wins on pricing!!!

From the moment we walked into the store the employees were very helpful. The Greeter at the Door was a happy person who seemed to enjoy his work. We were asked often if we needed help and when we said yes... Well the Employee practically took our hands and walked us to the aisle we needed. Love the Customer Service in this Store...

Employees are friendly but very few of them know the products they are selling or can answer questions with any degree of expertise. Many are very young or older part-timers who are willing to help you only if you know exactly what you are looking for. I asked two staffers in the paint department what I would need to paint the cement between the stones in my rock fireplace. One was young, barely out of high school, the other an older lady who admitted she knew nothing about paint. Neither one could answer my question. So I went to Ace Hardware, which employes long-time experts in their various departments, got the answer I needed and bought my paint there.

I was able to come receive help immediately and load items and leave all within a 30 min period associates were very helpfull and nice

Went to the store to buy a washer, I did my research on line and had it all picked out. As we got to the store in Golden, we were met my Bob Ragghanti who showed us all the pros and cons of each washer. After a lengthy discussion Bob was able to narrow us down to a Whirlpool washer that ended up being exactly what we needed. We have had very good experiences with a lot of the employees of this store and they will continue to have our business in the future.

products were easy to fund and we were able to purchase it there and pick it up in our home store

This is a large metro home depot with a friendly staff. You generally offer a large selection of most tools or products that I need. Most prices seem to be appropriate, but large ticket items can be very costly.

Staff is always helpful and friendly. Love the views from the parking lot into Golden. Sore is well stocked and clean.

Gardening associates knew little of their stock but the associates in lumber and building materials were not only knowledgeable of their area but also the gardenining dept and were able to make up for the lack of training in the gardening dept.

Shop often at this Home Depot, usually quite satisfied with the experience. This last trip was more difficult, not enough staff in Lawn and Garden, or not enough staff available to assist. I am a senior citizen, but don't usually require help, needed to purchase 5 more bags of lava rock, the way they were stacked, could not reach top ones, lower ones had 3 layers at an angle on top of each other, quite difficult and could not find anyone to help me. Ended up just buying 2 bags because it was all i could reach and or lift.

Dave, in Plumbing, came to my rescue when I was desperate to find a solution to my flooded basement. He went above and beyond to help me assemble a sub-pump set-up unique to my situation. I was very appreciative of his knowledge and effort!

Needed some HD chains and some master locks at !9:25 pm on a tuesday. Home Depot was open and employees seemed happy to help me, but not in that "hey we're closing soon" way. I was pleased with my experience. They had HD chain and a cool guy cut it for me, he directed to another isle for Master Locks. I found them in a Huge Wall of choices. LOTS of choices Lol. Almost too many choices, but variety is that spice of life. Got the one I needed and bounced to a self checkout. Easy, Done and Done. Go here if you need stuff they sell.

We have gone through the order process for a front door with Bob in the Doors and Windows department. He has been wonderful to work with. He is very knowledgeable and friendly. He made the process of ordering and installing very easy and was great to work with throughout. I would highly recommend him to anyone that is looking for doors or windows.

I will visit all other Home Depot stores, but not this one. The sales associate in the paint department is lacking skills in customer service, and tactfulness when it comes to being attentive with the customer ,Me. With my experience on today's visit, I was exhausted after the sales lady was not forth-coming on answering my questions after several attempts. My questions pertained to paint color, paint type, and price. More training ....perhaps?( after 4 years of her service in the store?) hum! I felt as if I was not of any importance to being helped by her condescending and rude attitude. Hope you can correct the situation as quickly as you can before it happens to someone else. This has nothing to do with the product at all. THE CUSTOMER SERVICE NEEDS IMPROVMENT with this particular sales associate.

I was sent to the store with a baggie full of odds and ends that needed replaced in our rental apartment. I showed it to an associate and quickly got what I needed.

The work week doesn't allow much time for outdoor pleasures and recently the weather has limited the weekends... So, I was elated that Saturday showed such promise of Sunshine and decided to get some Snap Dragons and other blooming plants and headed for Home Depot. There were a great many others who were taking advantage of the sunshine and the store was busy. Despite that, a gentleman noticed I was looking for something, asked, listened, leapt to the rescue and faster than the flutter of a Hummingbird's wing, I had Snap Dragons! I left the store with all I needed to transform my winter plastered patio to a haven for hummingbirds and hot tea. (It's still Colorado, after all) I also left with a very healthy respect for the value of competent, caring and observant staff.

It would be helpful if when a customer needs help, he does not need to wander around looking for an associate to assist. This visit, someone was in the next isle that was able to assist. Yesterday, I walked up and down and accros the store looking for assistance. I ended up having to walk back up to the front and ask a cashier to send someone to the lumber isle to answer my question. The store is loaded with security cameras; my gues is that someone is monitoring those cameras, and if they see someone who is obviously looking for help to call for assistance over the intercom.

I purchased a air compressor, about 3 weeks ago and upon another visit i noticed that the price had dropped by $30. I asked the associate if i could get a refund based on the new price and she said no problem. When i returned with my receipt the same associate remembered our conversation from two days earlier.. very impressive

No problem returning items and the sales associates were friendly and courteous.
