You can rent large equipment or tools for four hours or more. It depends on how long you'd like to rent them. Small DIY projects may only require a rental that's a few hours long, and we can accommodate large projects as well. You've got options to rent tools by the month, week, or day, too. If you need it longer than your initial rental period, call the Rental Center to arrange an extension and avoid late fees.

You're welcome to return the tools early if you complete your project ahead of schedule, but on-time works, too. As long as you return it by the deadline you were given when you rented it, you'll be good to go. Please clean off any built-up dirt from the tool as well. If you need them longer, give the rental center a call to see if you can extend your rental period.

Rent a cargo van, box truck, or pickup truck for as long as you need it. For short trips, 75 minutes may be plenty. Otherwise, consider renting it by the day or the week, depending on how long your project is. Remember to factor in the drive to and from the store, as you must bring it back to the same store where you rented it. Penske moving truck rentals allow round-trip options as well as one-way options, and they have different terms. Be sure to read the provided documentation before selecting a truck.

Yes, please fuel up the truck before you bring it back. Make a note of the fuel level when you receive the truck, and be sure to fill it with enough gas to match that same level. When you don't refill the rental vehicle, you'll be hit with a penalty known as the fuel replacement charge.

No, you must hold a valid driver's license and be 21 or older. Depending on your state, you may require car insurance, as well as a deposit or credit card hold, too. Please bring your credit card for Home Depot truck rentals, as we don't accept cash. Penske moving truck rentals have different requirements. Select tools as well as large equipment also require ID verification via CLEAR.

Depending on your location, you may be able to get large equipment delivered to your job site for a reasonable cost — out in the field or at your own home.
