Everyone who's part of the Home Depot Team, knows how to serve and help their guests. Not customers but guests, they make you feel as if you are important and special, and always want to meet your needs.

We are renovating our 80 year old home, and every time we need something else for the process, we are able to find it and find it for the best price at Home Depot. Their knowledgeable associates are always handy whenever we have questions.

Home Depot seems to have experienced clerks rather than a group of high school kids trying to answer my questions. Also, I really appreciate the military discount.

On my way into Home Depot, I was greeted by an associated named Cory. He immediately asked me if I needed any help. I said I needed a flat bed to put the mulch, soil & the flowers I was buying on. He went to get me a flat bed right away, asked how many mulch bags I needed & started putting them on the cart. I told him I was going to look at the soil & he said I shouldnâ??t lift it because they are very heavy & that he would do it for me. After he lifted the 2 bags of soil I needed onto the flat bed, he said he would help me find the white petunias I was looking for. We looked for a long time but we could not find any. I was getting ready to go check-out when Cory spotted the last 2 packs of them on the bottom of a new rack of flowers. After I checked-out, he put plastic down in my trunk & then helped me load my car. I feel he was so kind, helpful & went above & beyond to help me. I wanted to give him money but he refused. The Home Depot is lucky to have him as an employee!

Had overestimated the amount of soil we needed and returned 3 bags. Everyone very helpful in unloading the soil and the process was quick and efficient.

I shop frequently at this home depot. I know the layout well and can usually find what I need without assistance. When I do need assistance I usually find someone who is very helpful

The Gurnee store stole Mr. Members from Round Lake. He personifies a terrific associate, he is knowledgeable, has good people skills and friendly. However, there have been times when one can walk around that store and not be approached by an associate. This can be good when one just wants to see new things or bad when you need an item but can't find it. In the garden area, smaller bags of stones or pebbles for putting in small pots of indoor plants would be great. That was from my wife. She doesn't want a huge bag of rocks to use for transplanting Orchid to nicer pots. She would lie to see smaller bags of pebbles or black stones in the area where they sell Orchids.

No One was available in the department when I needed assistance

Jeff in Windows and Doors was above and beyond to help me get a new patio door for a non-standard frame. He did his research and then worked with me again on the order and modifications. He was determined to find me what I wanted and took his time to make it happen. I just hope the installers is as good.

We had a fire in our home and I've been living (well, it feels like that) at Home Depot for seven months. From the beginning, employees have been kind and extremely helpful. From lightbulbs and door knobs to tile and appliances, everyone has taken an extra minute to help steer me to the product best for my home. I especially appreciate Floor Manager Phillip and appliance guy, Stan the Man. I shopped at many stores during this journey, and Home Depot Gurnee is my favorite. It is the customer service, the people who work there that make the difference. They all deserve a raise.

THE GURNEE STORE IS GOOD BUT I REALLY LIKE SHOPPING AT THE ROUND LAKE BEACH STORE. THE PEOPLE ARE SO MUCH MORE HELPFUL, AND NICER TO DEAL WITH.

I had not idea where to find a battery for my backup sump pump. The sales associate Ben was extremely knowledgeable and friendly.
