Waiting in store for 2 1/2hr to get what i was shopping for, no help from Employee or the Manager.

Store workers are always friendly and helpful.

I LOVE THAT STORE I PRACTICALLY LIVE THERE. MY WIFE WANTS ME TO STORE GOING THERE I ALWAYS TO FIX OR TO BUILD AND THEY GREAT CUSTOMER SERVICE GOOD PRODUCTS AND DEAL ARE UNBELIEVABLE

Clean and fully stocked store. If you care about having a beautiful and healthy garden, ask for Randi. He's a fantastic teacher, giving you advises on what to buy and when to apply the product you need. He saves me money and extra unnecessary work, and my garden looks much better than before. Thank you Randi for being so passionate in your work..

Well I've noticed a great improvement in the way employess relate to customers. Every employee greeted me and offered help. A refreshing change.

Young lady in paint dept. was knowledgeable, pleasant and help. Same as the young man in door dept. Made everything easy.

owning and keeping up on a 160 year old home has been a challenge. getting the proper parts to replace everything from wiring to removing plaster and lath. the store associates have always been helpful and even take the time to explain what needs to be done when I bring my children along (yes they explain it to the kids and use the floor demonstration models to show them.)

Store was well organised and better quality products

Randy in the garden section was extremely helpful in identifying and addressing my lawn problems. This guy is the best! He is an expert. I have never met anyone as passionate about lawn care as Randy.

I cant say enough about the staff at this location. I had lots of questions about the various products available and the employees were great at assisting me in finding the best product for the job. Debbie was patient and understanding as I changed my mind MANY times If your shopping for flooring this is the place to go !

The store was clean and well stocked. Most noticeable was while waiting on line to use the automated cashier to pay for my items, the Sales Associates were scrambling to ensure all waiting customers were served ASAP. I expected a longer wait. But, it was pretty quick.

I am a Girl Scout leader. My cadette Troop was hosting a Mad Hatter tea party for younger scouts with the goal of our troop learning planning, budgeting & hosting skills. While researching ideas for our event, I came across a Home Depot blog where a DIYer made flamingo croquette mallets just like the ones the Queen of Hearts used. I contacted Home Depot store #1274 & they hosted an incredible workshop for my troop. The girls made the mallets, earned their woodworking badge and had a great time learning about tools & safe work habits. Giving back to the community speaks volumes of a corporation and is very appreciated by scout leaders, parents, teacher, etc. - thank you store #1274 for sparing the manpower to host this event for our Troop.

Nice store, easy parking, employees are helpful, I wish though they cleaned up the stock so you didn't have to fish for what you need.

The store is conveniently located and the staff is very nice and courteous. they have a a wide variety of hard wood floor that I was interested on

Looking for Dirt for a garden, I loaded 12 bags of dirt, a clerk asked for what useage> he suggested that was the wrong kind of dirt, for my use, Directed and Unloaded all 12 bags then helped select the Better kind of dirt for plants, not lawn, Very helpful.

I want to commend you on Sales Associate Laurie Collison from your Hardware Department. While I was thinking about purchasing an electric fireplace, she proactively approached my wife and I and offered her assistance and took the time to answer any questions we had without putting any pressure on us to make a purchase. What was most impressive was the time she spent with us and her friendliness which really made us feel as though we were family. I have several Home Depot stores in my general area but I will now ONLY shop at the Hempstead Store and ONLY because of Laurie

The store associate in the Tile & Flooring was extremely helpful, courteous, and knowledgeable. She assisted me with colors, materials, & pricing. She rang up my purchase as a courtesy and made sure someone assisted getting this extra heavy purchase to the car. I was extremely relaxed & comfortable. The associate took all the hard work out of the purchase & took care of everything!

I was looking to purchase a kitchen faucet from my home. Mike Mauro an employee there was extremely helpful in helping me find the product I was interested in. He did everything with a smile on his face and happiness in his heart. He is very educated and put my mind at ease in the selection process. Don't forget to ask for Mike Mauro in the faucet section. He walked me up to the register with my product and a woman by the name of Regina was extremely helpful in the self checkout kiosks. I usually never use them because they never seem to work properly but she help me every step of the way. Thank you Mike Mauro and Regina for a pleasant shopping experience. You both are the best!!!!

The Hempstead Home Depot has an very good location, ample parking, well organized and roomy isles And knowledgeable associate when necessary.

Had incredible help from an older gentleman- he gave me useful advice and assisted me in finding what I needed. Unfortunately, the cashier didn't say anything to us or make any eye contact during the checkout process. Very unprofessional.

Great shopping with knowledgable staff. They were able to recommend the right products for my needs.
