You can rent a tool for four hours or more. Simply choose the length of time that suits you. Small home improvement jobs may only require a short rental period, and we can accommodate large projects as well. You've got options to rent tools by the week, month, or day, too. If you need it longer than what you signed up for, call the Rental Center to arrange an extension and avoid late fees.

It's fine to return the tools early if you finish your project sooner than predicted, but on-time works, too. Just make sure to bring them back by the deadline listed on your rental paperwork. Please clean off any built-up dirt from the tool as well. If you need the tools longer, give the rental center a call to see if you can extend your rental period.

Rent a truck or cargo van for as long as you need it. For short trips, 75 minutes might be enough time. Otherwise, consider renting it by the week or the day, depending on how long your project is. Be sure to factor in the drive to and from the store, as you must return it to the same store you rented it from. Penske moving truck rentals allow round-trip options as well as one-way options, and they have different terms. Make sure to read the contract and terms and conditions before selecting a vehicle.

Yes, please fuel up the truck before you bring it back. Make a note of the original fuel level when you receive the truck, and fill it with enough gas to match that level. If you don't, you'll have to pay a penalty known as the fuel replacement charge.

No, you must hold a valid driver's license and be 21 or older. Depending on your state, you may require car insurance, as well as a credit card hold or a deposit, too. We don't accept cash for Home Depot truck rentals, so please bring your credit card. Penske moving truck rentals have different requirements, so read those if you plan to rent a Penske truck.
