If it's not, check another nearby store or reach out to our Rental Center associates to learn where that tool is available. Can I rent a tool for an hour?
You can rent a tool for four hours or more. It depends on how long you'd like to rent them. Small DIY projects may only require a rental for a few hours, and we can accommodate large projects as well. You've got options to rent tools by the week, day, or month, too. If you need it longer than your initial rental period, call the Rental Center to arrange an extension and avoid late fees.
When do I return the tools?
You can return the tools early if you finish your project ahead of schedule, but on-time works, too. As long as you return it by the deadline you were given when you rented it, you'll be good to go. Please clean off any mud or dirt from the tool as well. If you need the tools longer, call the rental center to see if you can extend your rental period.
Do tile saw rentals come with saw blades?
Yes, saw rentals generally come with blades, but we recommend that you get a new one. Your rental likely won't come with a new blade. However, you may luck out and receive an excellent blade on the saw. As there's no guarantee, purchase a suitable blade, just in case.
How do I get my large equipment rental?
Depending on your location, you may be able to get large equipment delivered and removed from your job site for a reasonable cost — whether that's at your home or out in the field. You'll need to rent it for one day or longer and provide us with 24 hours notice so we can prepare your rental delivery for you. In places where delivery isn't available, speak to an associate for the ideal way to get your large equipment.
What are some ways to avoid extra fees and penalties on my large equipment rentals?
Treat your large equipment rentals as any other vehicle: Make sure it's parked legally and you obey traffic laws. Read the instructions so you're using it correctly to avoid damaging the equipment or injuring yourself. Also, plan ahead to ensure the equipment is ready when you are, as cancelling within 12 hours of delivery means you'll incur a cancellation fee. Make sure to return equipment by the deadline or extend the rental period to accommodate the extra hours or days you require.
