Great store and great people. I always get help when I need it and the store clerks always know where the product is.

We had to order the snow blower over the phone because our local Home Depot did not have the model we wanted. They were super helpful and held the machine until we could get to Houghton Lake to pick it up. When we got there the following day, they were so friendly and helpful. It was worth the 50 mile trip for us.

My husband and I needed a space heater. We decided to get the entertainment style space heater. When we entered the store we did not have a large enough cart. The staff was amazing at going to get us the flatbed cart and bring it back to us in the department we were in. The cashier was very friendly and kind. Mark who help us load the 150+ pound fireplace into our truck was very prompt and kind as well. We even made the comment to the staff that the Houghton Lake Home Depot dad is far better and kinder than the Staff at the Ann Arbor location where we reside permanently. Holton lake is our second home and we love coming up here because of the hospitality we received. Thank you.

I've always had great experiences at this store. As a retired professional I appreciate the pro's that are hired and willing to help with suggestions. Often a product has come out since I retired that works better for what I want to do and the personnel here have been great about helping with those things. I've never found an item I was looking for out of stock. I am sure there are times that could happen, but as often as I shop in this and the other three stores near me (West Branch, Saginaw and Alpena) it is very good that I very rarely see out of stock items. I help many of our local church folks with repairs and remodel when I can, so I visit far more than the average non-pro. I really appreciate the professionals hired to work in their specialty area. I've never been steered wrong by an employee at this, or the other three stores I mentioned. Also, being totally disabled, I often need help to load my vehicle. My boys help me at home and at my job sites, but cannot always be with me at the store. I especially appreciate the help I always receive from personnel for loading tasks. Thanks Home Depot #2769!

I always find whatever I intend to purchase and there is always a store associate nearby to help me if I need be. I love shopping here, they have a great selection in their holiday areas, and I love the Christmas selections, but there are so many product ideas that gets the creative in me motivated.

The Houghton Lake Home Depot has a ton of unique and current products. I always find what I come in for plus there is a lot of things there fir the ladies too, so we can have fun shopping there too. The store is clean and spacious, and things are easy to find. But there is always something new to look at and shop for, and they always have a great section for Halloween and my favorite is when they do their Christmas section!!

I always enjoy shopping at the Home Depot at Houghton Lake (MI). I live in Harrison (MI), and this location is the nearest Home Depot location for me. The "associates" at this store are very accessible, knowledgeable and helpful when you have questions. I enjoy shopping at this store.

My husband just needed a hose and a few fittings and a new spicket. When he found an associate to help, that guy told my husband that he would call someone to help(he wasn't helping anyone else at the time) about 20 minutes later the same associate and another customer walked down the same isle my husband was on without saying anything about someone coming to help or asking if he found what he was looking for.

Easy to Shop, store was clean, easily located items required on that particular day of shopping. Employees were helpful, courteous and professional. Overall pleasant experience for me.

I went to Home Depot to get a screen door and the helpful associate there knew what needed and the wonderful cashier gave helpful advice and showed me how to get a rebate and I saved $25 instantly. It was a very good day.
