My neighborhood Home Depot reminds me of my hardware store I used when I was growing up. For the most part the folks there are knowledgeable about their products and very helpful when i am working on a project.

I like Home Depot and overall I find their associates helpful, pleasant and knowledgeable throughout the store. I had the opportunity to talk with an associate in the garden center about fire ants that were taking refuge in one of my trees. First, he helped me identify what type of tree it is (a yucca). He knew quite a lot about it. He suggested a treatment for the ants as well as other uses for the product. There were none on the shelf, so he found another associate to look it up and retrieved an unopened box to give me one. He saw me as I was selecting some plants and I asked about another flower that is very similar to it. He knew the one I was thinking of and called it desert rose but laughed because he didn't know the Greek name for it. And I only knew the Greek name for the one I was buying! I showed him a picture of a bush that I was fond of and he identified it right away without even hesitating. He told me when he is at the store and told me to come back again if I needed any future help. I put his name in my contacts and the days he works and will definitely direct my garden questions to him. I wish I could put his name here but the guidelines say I can't. He is a gem.

Better selection than Lowes. Good pieces and prices.

The associate's were all very helpful and polite. Items I needed were easily located. Checkout was fast. The store was organized and clean.

Almost every trip is great. My only issue was one occurrence in which it took over 20 minutes to find willing help to get plungers (the shelf was out of stock, but the item was in a box overhead). I just needed someone to climb a ladder, but the greeter I asked said their shift was over and they walked away and the department didn't come to help when pages. Customer service finally helped. Unfortunately, this was the one trip that I had my wife and newborn waiting in the car instead of coming by myself, so the impact of prolonging a "quick trip" was exasperated. Proper shelf stocking could have avoided the whole incident. That being an exception, I find products are generally available.

Since moving to Katy two years ago, I have visited the Home Depot on many occasions for everything from plumbing, lumber, lawn and garden and tools. I have never been disappointed with the customer service , knowledge and willingness to help me find what I need and great advice on how to complete projects. The staff is friendly, professional and I always feel like they have time to assist me. I don't shop anywhere else for my home needs.

My order was placed on a flat-bed dolly. There was a fine young man who rolled it out to my car and loaded it for me. I thanked him and tried to get him to take a five dollar tip but he just smiled and told me he was glad to be of service. Kudos to the young man. People like that are rare indeed.

Nice selection, friendly people. I purchased items to restore furniture. The associate didn't advocate the painted paint sticks, but tried to assist as much as possible.

Home Depots Paint Kiosk helped me determine blending of colors to paint in our new home. The variety of colors and the suggestions of color combinations was extremely helpful. My advice is to pay a couple visits and take some samples home to test. Then be sure to understand the importance of the "sheen". Finally, on the final visit I just handed the assistant my long list of colors, sheens and volumes and it was mixed and ready for me within 20 minutes (enough time to take care of other business at the Home Depot).

while waiting for a sales associate to buy washer/dryer I noticed that the associates would skip me over and help couples.. I can't help feeling that they assume a single female is not a serious buyer.

After more than 20 trips to this location in the last 8 weeks, only once was a store employee rude, but I don't think that is indicative of this particular store. Just a very sour middle aged man in the plumbing department seemed bothered by questions. Other than that, this store is really outstanding.

I had gone to Lowes first and no one would help me apparently told by an associate the flooring guy was off on Mondays. WOW. So went to Home Depot and the guy I walked up to ask to help me was awesome. from start to finish. They had half of the flooring I needed in stock and ordered the rest for me. The prices were lower than I was going to pay else where. I am a customer for life now.

The associate spoke the king's English, unusual for south Texas. the item i wanted was in stock, everyone was very accomodating and helpful, I felt like a valued customer

It was a wonderful experience in your store due to John & Emmanuel. John was very helpful in helping us pick out the perfect grill and with the process of getting it from the shelf and to the car. The first grill we wanted was on recall so we were not able to get it and Emmanuel took the time to help us find another one that was even better! It was the help of these two employees that makes me want to continue to shop there and tell others to as well. Through the entire process they were patient, knowledgeable, and the perfect example of what customer service should look like. This location is very fortunate to have such skilled and dedicated employees. Thank you very much for all your help!

The Behr Deck over is an excellent product and the associates at the paint department were extremely helpful.

Store has helpful associates and always shop here. Better than lowes and bestbuy when it comes to appliance

THE ASSOCIATES WERE FRIENDLY, HELPFUL AND KNOWLEDGEABLE

When I came into the store looking for a pole saw I was able to find what I needed within 5 minutes and was shown the gas powered pole saw and the sales associate even demonstrated the use of the pole saw and how far it could reach. I was very pleased with the cleanliness of the store and the assistance that the sales associate gave me while in the store. I was able to find everything that I needed for the equipment being purchased. When I went to check out the line moved quick and I was overall pleased with this location.
