the associates were very helpful with my questions.

Associate asked if I needed help finding anything. They were out of Black and Decker string trimmer replacement. Went to self-checkout, and associate came right over and scanned my softener pellets ,so I didn't have to lift them to the counter.

This is an excellent store to shop in. Sometimes it seems hard to find an associate, but when you do, they are very helpful and go out of their way to do anything necessary to accommodate your needs, including finding someone else who's more knowledgeable, or referring you to another store that might have what you need (it's a great sign of a good store when they are confident enough to send you somewhere else to really help you get what you need, knowing you'll be back again!) Definitely worth a visit to this store and its excellent excellent employees ! ! !

Betty, the head cashier at the Lawrence Home Depot was an absolute pleasure to work with. Betty, the head cashier at the Lawrence store, was very polite and very helpful. I asked Glenn, the head person over plumbing,for help with a sump pump since I didn't see the one I needed on the shelf, he said that the system show that there are three but he didn't have time to go find me one because he had other things to do. I asked Betty for a manager, she asked me what she could do to help, I explained the situation to her, she took me back to the area where the sump pumps were and asked Glenn herself if they had any on hand, he told her that the computer says they had 3 but he didn't have time to look for them because he was busy, she apologizes then found a manager and asked if she could price match and give me a better one after she explained what happened. The manager said yes and I walked away pretty satisfied. She took the time to help me and I really appreciate her. Thank you Betty.

For the first time, I had two employees ask if I needed anything. There was a problem at the self check out, the employee just rang everything yp by hand. It was very convenient.

I live in Wichita, but have to come to Lawrence to work on a rental. I like this store better than the stores we have in Wichita.

I needed quality carpet in a timely manner due to water damage in my home. The associate helped me select quality carpeting in the 10 day guaranteed installation category. I was not only dealing with the home damage, but also a medical emergency in the family. Three different associates went out of their way to ensure the carpet was installed around hospital visits and medical appointments - within the 10 day period. I was also able to select carpeting of quality and appearance that I would want to use again in other areas of my home.

I am a professional who visits Home Depot nearly daily as a result of my work. However, it is a typical visit to this Home Depot if you leave with 3 of 5 things you came to get. Massively under stocked shelves or perhaps store mismanagement that leads to not enough goods being ordered. The paint department is routinely out of 5-gallon buckets, which leaves me to buy large quantities of paint in individual gallons. You can imagine how long it takes waiting on 15 individual gallons to be made versus being able to conveniently purchase 3 5-gallon buckets. Other "common" items such as air filters and electrical outlets are routinely sold out. These are items that do not expire; there is no reason for this store to under stock these items. Truly very frustrating. Home Depot should address this soon as Menards is opening up next door and many of us in the profession who are tired of not having what we need when we need it will go elsewhere.

Everything was easy to find. We were looking for a specific water pump.

The check-out clerk was very helpful in directing me to find the item I wanted to purchase. However, I was a little disconcerted to find that the store price was more than the on-line price.

Could not get anyone to help me load my items either in the store or in my vehicle.

I love going to this store and using my Home Depot credit card and getting an additional 5% off already good prices!

When you don't know quite what you're buying or all the supplies you need, it helps to have an associate who willingly and cheerfully assists.

I would rather talk to a person than find it on my phone!! I waited for a short period and was approached by an associate who quickly helped me to reach the right associate. She located a dryer and brought it to the front of the store for me. She also assisted me with location of parts for my dryer. The cashier was very pleasant and he also loaded the dryer in the back of the truck with my assist. He showed great support for the business and should be rewarded. I have been in several times before and could not find anyone to help me, and then shopped elsewhere. I was very pleased with my visit this time and will go back. Thanks DIERK - dkm2986

If anyone needs help with deck questions, see Terri in paint! She was very knowledgeable. She was an expert in her field. I enjoyed my shopping experience asking her questions about stains and how to protect my investment. I did all of this on my lunch hour and I was back to work on time!

Love this store because it is a one-stop shopping for me for yard and garden, home repairs and remodel. The Associates that I have approached have always been very helpful and if they don't know the answer to my questions they find someone that does. I like the prices and the quality, the selection and the fact that I can look on-line before I come in to make sure that they have a specific item I am looking go.

From the time I stepped into the paint department until the time I left the store, all associates were extremely helpful. I brought paint colors from three other companies, and the store associate in the paint department was able find the paint colors on the computer and mix the colors I wanted. She made sure I received the rebates for the paint that was purchased. The cashiers were interested in my project and helpful in getting a small store discount for the non profit I was buying supplies for. I highly recommend Home Depot!

I went to the landscaping section. It was very dirt and unorganized. There were no associates around to help me out,and I was not pleased with the stock. Although I did find most of what I was looking for.

We ordered several items at once. Some things were delayed because of the manufacture which is not Home Depot's fault. However, there is a lack of communication within the store. They should also notify you of the delay, or at the very least be able to tell you when you inquire about it. We paid for 2 different curb side deliveries. It has been almost 8 weeks and 4 different deliveries and we still do NOT have all of our items. If recommending associates to deal with I would recommend Jared, and Jeff! They have went above and beyond trying to help us. Matt works in delivery has been awesome! He even delivered items to us on his day off! Other associates have been nice, except for a few that have been very rude. If I was rating the store on Jared, Jeff and Matt I would score a 5 star, but the overall experience with the store is not the best. I will never do a major remodel again.

Ceder fencing is thin & cheap. Hard to ever find any straight 2x4 stock - treated or untreated. Step ladders and fork lifts are left in the isle making it hard to navigate a cart or select merchandise. This store will die when Menards is completed.
