Can I rent a tool by the hour?
You can rent a tool for four hours or more. Simply choose the length of time that suits you. Small home improvement projects may only require a rental for a few hours, and major projects aren't a problem either. You've got options to rent tools by the week, day, or month, too. If you need it longer than your initial rental period, call the Rental Center for an extension and avoid late fees.
When can I bring the tools back?
It's fine to return the tools early if you complete your project faster than planned, but on-time works, too. Just make sure to bring them back by the deadline listed on your rental paperwork. Please clean off any grime and dust from the tool as well. If you need them longer, call the rental center to see if you can extend your rental period.
Can I rent a truck for a few hours?
Rent a truck or cargo van for as long as you need it. For short trips, 75 minutes might be plenty. Otherwise, consider renting it by the day or the week, depending on the length of your project. Be sure to factor in the drive to and from the store, as you must return it to the same store you rented it from. Do I need to refill the rental truck with gas?
Yes, please fill up the truck before you return it. Match the level of gas that was in the tank when you received the rental. When you don't refill the truck, you'll have to pay a penalty known as the fuel replacement charge.

No, you also need to be 21 or older, in addition to holding a valid driver's license. Depending on your state, you might require car insurance, as well as a credit card hold or a deposit, too.
