We were looking for an out of season item that was moved and not easy to get at. Were greeted by Jon immediately after entering the store. He did a computer search of the store inventory and found our item but it had recently been moved because it was seasonal. He was determined to find it for us and "make a sale". He did find it on a high shelf....got a ladder and got it down for us. His willingness to help made the sale AND made my husband and I loyal Home Depot customers. From now on HD will be our first stop for home goods. Thanks, Jon YOU ROCK.

I have always had aa good experience at this store. There are always sales associates available and ready to assist in anyway needed.

They go out of their way to help and are very informative of new products

All the staff at the store were great, I worked a lot with the paint department and John was incredibly helpful and explained a lot about the different paint options I had. John was friendly and knowledgeable making my experience much easier. I also ordered new flooring, Amanda was over the top helpful assisting me in my floor selection. She worked with me to get the best deals and pick out the best floor in my price range, she also was knowledgeable and made my experience so much easier. I also purchased a stove and had Audrey help me she was kind a courteous, she helped me find the best deal and pointed out many different features that I would never have thought about in regards to an oven. I am a first time home buyer and Home Depot Machesney Park has made my life so much easier. I also am a veteran and am loving the 10% discount that you guys give, thank you for that!!

When arriving, I'm always greeted and asked if I need help. Generally I don't, but if I'm in a hurry, it helps me get in and out quickly. While shopping, it's never hard to find someone to help when needed. I've always been surprised at how friendly "and" helpful the clerks are in this store. If they don't know an answer; to the best of their ability, they find out for you. They really seem sincere about helping. This is definately the best home improvement store I've ever been in. (I've been in a lot of them over the years) For that matter, most retail operations should take notes about the way these employees interact with their customers. I always get the type of service that I would expect to get from a specialty store (but seldom do). Kudos to management or whoever is responsible. I highly recommend this store.

Overall I was able to find what I was looking for.

The department clerks are helpful and knowledgeable. It's easy to get good information and go back to the jobs.

I am traditionally not a big fan of the large stores and my experience in the past with Home Depot has not been pleasant. However, I ended up at this store and encountered 2 of the best associates that I have EVER dealt with at any store. So much so that I asked their names: Stephanie Lenz and Norman Jordan. Those two were BY FAR the most helpful associates I have ever dealt with. Mind you this was after having been ignored by multiple employees who either walked right by me or did nothing. It was very obvious I had a big list and needed assistance and only Stephanie and Norman were willing to assist for what was a good length of time. Also, to their credit, they were able to professionally assist other customers while tied up with me. They are to be commended and are the sole reason for the four stars.

Excellent customer service! Everyone from Matt and Jose in the lumber department to the store manager Mike and the cashier Cynthia! They we all so helpful and eager to assist me with my purchase and loading my vehicle. I look forward to shopping at this store. Can go to other stores but it truly is about quality customer service!

My wife and I had bought some flooring and we decided to complete another room with the same item. I called the store. An associate helped me by finding the item and putting them on the side so I could come two days later to pick them up. Everyone was kind and fast!!!

Bart was a great help to me on this event! I am a YMCA Camp Director and needed to put a quick project together on Christmas Eve for 150 kids to hang their winter gear on. I had to move quickly to get this project done on the same day so it would be completed for the campers arrival. Bart provided his time an expertise and I was able to build 10 coat racks that were sturdy, economic, and ascetically pleasing. I'm not the worlds best carpenter and Bart pointed towards solutions that could be done by a laymen. All the cuts/dimensions that I needed were done in the store so the only tool I needed was a drill when I returned to Camp. I could not have accomplished this professional looking project without Bart's willingness to lend a hand, offer sound advice, and weigh in with his expertise. Very helpful! The following week we received many accolades about the the coat racks and how they improved the quality and look of the program. Thanks Bart!

STORE WAS CLEAN AND CHECK OUT LADY WAS VERY HELPFUL

Everything I wanted was easy to find at a reasonable price. The only problem was one of the items did not have a price on it.

A store associate named Rob assisted me with purchase at the Machesney Park HD. Rob was extremely helpful and friendly. He saved me lots of time and quickly located the parts I needed for an RO system install at my house. Rob made the experience enjoyable and learned a lot in the process. The install went without a hitch & I have him to thank. I drive by another home improvement store every time thanks to people like him. Thanks again Rob & others at the store that continue to exceed expectations.

my cashier was Shirley. She was very polite and helpful. I could only describe the item I needed. We found exactly what I wanted on her phone app.>>>great idea! She directed me to the isle and bin to find the item...easily found it then. There was a price discrepancy which she checked and corrected. She appears to be a pleasant, knowledgeable, and helpful member of your team. Home Depot is my "go to" store. It's relaxed, well stocked, well staffed, best restrooms and overall a favorable experience every time. Thank you for being there. And I especially appreciate what you do for our servicemen and women.

My family and I were welcomed at the front door by a Machesney Park, Home Depot employee offering candy canes and assistance with shopping. Yes! Walking through the store shopping for Christmas and eating candy canes. What a wonderful time of the year! Had a question about an item's price. My 12 yr. son had done his shopping homework on line before coming to the store so he knew the price had a $4.00 difference. The employee at customer service was extremely helpful and kind. We found out that the drill bit extractor set had been a Black Friday sale item and it was still on sale. The price was right in the computer but not on the shelf. That's OK with me. Just so it is not the other way around!

I was quite surprised with this visit. I usually shop at the competitors. I wont any longer. I was able to fins help quickly and the help was friendly, professional and knowledgeable. I will shop here from now on.

Everyone is always helpful, pro desk is always willing to help with my order over the phone and always has it waiting for me in the front of the store, no waiting, no hassle, just in and out with a great paint product and price that cant be beat anywhere, I know, Ive checked around, been in business for 35 years, Home Depot has been able to give the same personal service as the small stores in the past, this is a plus for me, simplicity and service, caring about your customers and taking care of their needs, that's always been my concern, its helped me to develop a great customer base for all these years and its definitely working for Home Depot too, You Guys and Gals are the Best, Keep it up, Your Loyal Home Depot partner in making things happen.

As always a great shopping experience. Every item listed as being in stock was and prices were as expected and extremely competitive. This store is much better than either Menards or Lowes in my area.

This is one store that enjoy shopping at. Everyone is friendly and helpful.

I am excited to learn more about remodeling my kitchen with Home Depots products and services.
